Rhun and I turn to each other and our eyes meet. She blushes a bit and giggles as she turns away.
Me: "Well go on, tell them what happend."
Nezon plops on to the couch and grabs my arm excitedly. "Ohhhhh! I love this story!"
Rhun blushes a bit more then walks to the middle of the sun room and clears her throat. "Well it all started about thirty years ago. Master had been a roaming knight for about four years, in those four years he had gained quite a reputation. He went from being renowned as an unstoppable paladin zealot to a protector of the weak and a defender of all, human and mamono alike. I had just arrived at the port city of Nenbor looking for him, I was with a group of Kikimora and several assorted mamono who wished to serve him. There were rumors going around that he had a home there or nearby so there was a lot of traffic of mamono looking for the famous..."
She stops and looks to me, she's about to ask me something when I just nod and wave her on.
"Well... before he started going by the name you know him by now he was known as Sir Jorge the Paragon and he was quite beloved by most of the ladies... Anyways I wasn't traveling alone I was with my longtime Kikimora friend Sonya Rosemist. We were hoping that we could manage to serve Sir Jorge together and... well..." Rhun blushes even more "A-and serve him... Anyways the first thing we did was look for a job, luckily we found a job at a tavern where we both worked for the room and pay of one. On our free time we both went about the city looking for any clues to where he might live or if he already someone serving him. A few weeks went by and we had no solid leads and a bunch of rumors, we had all but given up hope and were planning to move to the next town and that's when Sonya ran in tears of joy streaming down her cheeks.
Sonya: "Violet! Violet! You will never guess who I saw while shopping!"
"I jokingly Replied with: Who Sir Jorge?"
Sonya: "YES! He was so amazing! He walked into the marketplace with a dead direbear on his back and a small child in his arms. And guess what? It was the owners SON! He saved the owners son form the dire bear! So I invited him over here for a free meal!"
"Of course I didn't belive her at first but after a while we were both giddy with excitement and were jumping around. We had spent the rest of our day off preparing a feast for him even though it was possible that he did not show up. We had just finished preparing the feast when he walked into the tavern, quickly I tidied myself up and lead Sir Jorge to his table while Sonya ran up to our room to change. I started talking to him and catering to him when he asked for the kikimora who invited him to the tavern. I explained that she went upstairs to tidie up when we heard her scream. Without a second's hesitation he bolted up the stairs and up to our room, when I arrived I saw her much smaller than what I remeber her being. That's when I saw him shaking the daylights out of a baphomet who had taken a liking to Sonya, was quite popular with the local children and I guess the baphy wanted her to be part of the sabbath. After a long interrogation we found that the baphy could or would not revert her back to normal and that's when he expressed his dislike for lolis... He ended up taking the baphy to the local jail and came back to finish his meal. Before he came back." Rhun tears up a bit and has difficulty saying the next pat.
"A-and Sonya gave me... gave me her ribbon and her blessing. She stayed for dinner and ended up pitching me to be the best maid around and suggested that he take me under his wing and allow me to live with him. She hid it under the guise of having him protect me from the sabbath... and the rest is history. Sonya was adopted by the owner of the tavern and he took care of her, she never really grew up completly but with some help she has managed to make it back to her early teens. I still have her bow and send her letters whenever I can."
