Here is a story for you. You are out walking one day, away from your village of birth; away from your troubles, for but a little time in the wood. You farm, you rest; you endure: a simple life, underated in its simple joys. You come back home. But upon the bend to an overhead pass you see, there is no longer home. Abodes stand now as cinders, the same as the cribs of children in some. Your mind burns. Your chest heaves. Your mind numbs, even though you want to pray. Your legs gain newfound strength as you run into town, and, maybe with dust in your eyes, because you start to cry. You enter the village. One foot crunches, upon a black, melted something. Shock careens though your leg. And there, where your eyes, and perhaps mind couldn't undertand before, it starts to clear: a body contorted, arms up to its face, like in fear. A young woman, no older than a young teen lies there, not breathing. Your chest tightens, and, you feel your heart split in two. That foot slides to the ground, followed by buckled knees; you. Your muscles tire, and ache. Your throat stings. Your eyes burn. Screams claw out your throat. All that comes out is a chocked, murdered cries. Thoughts of friends, family; pale reflections of their deaths.

Your head turns, slowly. That's when you see her, or it. You see scales, and wings; claws. You have a moment to react. You could run, fight, talk, or perhaps trick her. You have a knife in your pocket. Anything could be happened; has happened. You have one chance. How big are your hearts gentlemen? ( for one cute girl, and hopefully a misunderstanding)  :)

I run, I run away. I run and don't stop running. I can't do anything... I'm too weak no too cowardly to fight, unable to comprehend what happend I black out and wake up in a village. I make friends with a merchant and travel with his caravan back to my village. When we see the ruins I remember what happened here and explain to the caravan. they help me bury what is left of the dead and take me as one of their own. After travleing with them for some time I become stronger, learning advanced pyromancies fighting techniques and basic magic/miracles. I even use my new savyness as a merchant to buy a set of heavy black iron armor and gear to match. I tell my new family that I must go back to the site of my old village to slay the beast and avenge all those I lost.

Standing in the rubble once again I go to my old home and ask for forgiveness for not being there when they needed me the most, and I ask for their help in my time of need. The town lights up in an etheral glow as orbs of light rise from the ground. They fly and circle me, then I hear voices. Voices unkown yet familiar. They wisper to me... they love me... they trust me... they FORGIVE me. Just as they say that I see them, my neighbors, friends, family, my childhood crush, all of them with open arms. I open my arms as if to embrace them and they fly to me. I feel them in me, I feel them giving me their strength, their power, their spirit energy. My armor feels lighter, the sword and shield rest like feathers in my hands. I see everything, feel everything, know everything.

The spirits tell me they will be with me forever, they will watch over me guide and protect me from all. They tell me to forgive but to never forget them and what happened here. I move on walking away I notice something I see what looks like the bones of a dragon holding someone close to them as if they were dear to them, I realise that I was not the only one to lose someone that day, that my anger was misplaced. Leaving a flower I take my leave to catch up to my caravan heading to the city of Lescatie. I remember what the spirits said to me, and for the first time in years I feel peace.
