Nothgard: Army
To accomplish the wish of the Emperor and take down the Demon Army, and the Order army if it gets in the middle, he clearly needs soldiers. And so, the full army is divided into four sections: The Legion, the Beast Army, the Saurian Army, and the Iron Army. In this chapter, we will talk about the Iron Army, an artificial army formed only by machines.
Iron Army
Shield used by the enginniering units.
The Iron army was created when the Empire had enough resources to manufacture the Clockwork Men, but not only that. There were projects for enhancing and developing new versions of the Clockwork Men which were more effective than the original unit, soon seeing the original version as obsolete and nothing intimidating, having a severe weakness on the back where was their fuel, the relatively small radius of security radius of the control bases, and its low-speed movement.
The new models were very varied in designs, making it more similar to normal soldiers, and after some deliberating, it was decided to create an army that was formed entirely by the Clockwork Men, leaving the original Clockwork Men as mere guards or units used entirely for basic siege missions. These new models were 'programmed' with a more advanced AI that turns them more useful, with protocols to reject any type of thought caused by the Demonic Energy (In resume, the sex is forbidden in their protocols). Also, their armor was specially designed for repelling the ambiental Demonic Energy, so the only form of turn a Clockwork Man into an Automaton is by throwing a Dark Matter directly into said Clockwork man.
Leader
'Count Tic Toc': A mysterious Clockwork Man with an extremely advanced AI that behaves like a gentleman. It's said that for some reason was being severely affected by the Demonic Energy, but was quickly reverted, gaining that gentleman's behavior.
Some people can see it as ridiculous, but behind that 'face' exists the mind of a brilliant strategist, able to think in cunning plans and plots that give him an advantage to the enemy.
He tends to show great respect to the enemies that survive long enough to his plots and to who can do great deeds. But still is somebody to keep in mind when going against the Iron Army.
It's rumored that the 'Count' title was given all by himself, nobody knows why.
Units
The army of the Iron Army is usually divided by regiments depending on the weapons they use. The list showed are the models of the army.
Brawler: One of the units of the Iron Army, upgraded directly from the original Clockwork Man. Uses his full body for punch, kick or headbutt his enemies.
Halberdier: One of the units of the Iron Army, armed with a halberd and a shield. Typically used for defense and custody duties.
Blaster: One of the units of the Iron Army, upgraded directly from the original Clockwork Man and armed with two cannons instead of forearms. Uses both cannons for shoot energy elements against the target.
Blader: One of the units of the Iron Army, upgraded directly from the original Clockwork Man and armed with a blade in one of its arms. Can attack with the same methods as the Brawler or with the blade.
Colossus: One of the units of the Iron Army, being the largest of the Clockwork Men. Tends to use the size of its body at its advantage.
