Nothgard
Nothgard Empire Emblem
The Empire was formed time after the fall of the Theocracy of Lescatie under the Lilim Druella's armies. When the royal captain of the city escaped, he promised to take revenge and force all the Demon Lord's heritage to submit to him and humanity.
This has also as objective conquer the Order lands to punish the Chief God by failing to protect Lescatie.
Nothgard Empire Flag
The land of Nothgard isn't so different from many other countries about forests, fields and inner lakes.
The only thing that differentiates Nothgard by other countries is the large and high ring of mountains that surrounds all the country, which only two access to this land: across a large canyon named Nothgard's Gorge, which is constantly guarded by a fortress at the middle of the way, and with the mouth's entrance defended by stationed bases in the mountains facing the exterior zone of the Gorge; and from sea at the northwest area of Nothgard, route that is defended by stationed bases in the mountains facing the sea.
Inside the country, there are ten main cities/towns: Nothgardmur, Tiamatnur, Primeval, Farmagal, Galmagan, Forgan, Rockjaw Harbor, Berkrim, Lakesize, and Nothgard.
Map of Nothgard. Thinking on update if needed.
Nothgard: The capital of the empire, is where resides the Emperor itself alongside his royal harem. The city is completely fortification divided by three sections inside the walls: The civilian section, where lives the inhabitants and are all the inns and shops; the military section, where el soldiers are trained and resides; and the fortress itself, built on the mountain's slope at some height from the city, is completely fortified and prepared for resist any attack. It's said that nobody is able to infiltrate into the city without being spotted, and less invade the city.
A 'Map' of Tiamatnur. Thinking if update it later
Tiamatnur: A large city at the west of Nothgard, divided by two sections: The outer section and the inner section. The outer section is where all the civilian and militia, both humans and Monster Girls, lives in the city. The inner section is, in reality, a special training center only for Monster Girls, surrounding the city's monument, the Tower of Tiamatnur, where resides the Echidna Matriarch Tiamat, and her Echidna kind. Also in the inner section resides all the Monster Girls that are bred and indoctrinated for the Empire's glory. Actually is the only place where the Monster Army, formed by said Monster Girls, is trained but is planning to create similar centers along all the Empire and the Dominate
Nothgardmur: The first city that is encountered after crossing Nothgard's Gorge, and is one of the biggest in the country. Being the first city to meet, is heavily defended, but it also is the main core of commerce and cultural exchange, where anybody can buy and sell the products that are manufactured in Nothgard and the goods that come with the merchants that come here. From this place, the merchants can go to any place of Nothgard if they don't want to sell their goods in the city, but the majority of them sell their merchandise here.
Primeval: A city no much large that other towns, but this one is special by their inhabitants: A race of creatures named Saurians, a race of monsters that lived during millennia underground and evolved to the same state as humans. Originally the place was a mine surrounding a hill named the 'Saurian Hill', but after of find them in a hidden underworld, the Empire got their race to join their cause, leaving this town to be the first one in life over the ground.
Farmagal: This place is known as the breadbasket of Nothgard. In this place, anybody can find a large number of farms that feed the Empire with every type of fruit, vegetable, and meat that is needed. While the 3/4 part of the resources got here are used for feed the soldiers in the campaign, the other 1/4 is used for feed the people in all the empire, being a huge aid for the multiple farms that can be found inside all the country, surrounding the cities.
Forgan: This city is known as the Empire's blacksmith, where all the armors, weapons, and siege weapons are being built. The townspeople's houses are dwarfed compared with the large factories and warehouses that create and store the weapons used for the Empire. All the equipment forged here is sent to the different military camps and training grounds scattered around. They also send the sparing ore to the other cities for that their blacksmiths can build what the people need. There is a rumor that here is being designed something that can cross the sea without touch the water, but is only a rumor.
Galmagan: Also known as the Holy City, is the house of the religion that worships the Empire's God, Galmathor. Either if there are many churches around all the empire, the city's Cathedral is the more important of all. It's said that the Pope is always chosen by the Emperor and the god Galmathor personally. It's said too that actually, the actual Pope is a grown up busty Baphomet, using busty adult witches and dark clerics for extending Galmathor's words. It's rumored that there is a system for transmit messages between the Popess and the Emperor at the moment, but nobody outside the country can guess what is.
Rockjaw Harbor: This city is the only harbor that can be found in Nothgard. This place has three main purposes: maintain the fishing economy; be used as a commercial harbor for sea trades, and for build a naval fleet for the Empire, but this last one isn't very reliable by Poseidon's threat to the fleet, after all. But still they have a defensive fleet for stop invaders, and in the mountains are defensive positions from where shot at the enemy ships that try to attack the empire from the sea.
Berskrim: One of the multiple towns of Nothgard, known as the home of the Berserkers, a tribe of men larger and stronger as the Minotaur, the Ogre or the Amazoness. Their strength is greatly used for the Empire, and they're strong enough as for use adapted siege weapons like the Ballista, which was created for imitating the basic Crossbow in use.
Lakesize: A lake harbor town, where are built the Airships and are upgraded. Thanks to the use of the Commerce oriented Airships that are built too, it has turned into the third commercial town of the Empire, which economy consist in the commerce done with the Airships.
Also in some zones, there are mines that excavate, alongside the usual gold and jewels, two type of products: some of them dig Spiritual Gems, which ones can suck the Demonic energy around them, and release Spiritual Energy, creating a cycle that helps the Monster Girls to avoid their raping instincts; and the Nothgil, a special ore that is formed by the country's natural environment, and which what can create weapons and armors more sturdy than the known ore.
Thanks to the Spiritual Energies, they can put under control the Monster Girls populations for avoiding incidents, usually building a statue with a large Spiritual Gem on it, and placing the statue at the center of the villages. This reduced the Monster Girls attacks to the 5% and still, they're still watched.
Nothgard Map (Updated)
An actual map of Nothgard. The red spots with dark red circles are the cities, town, and key points. The purple points are defensive bases placed on the mountains. The dark brown signal the mountains, while the brown is the mountain passes which, ever aren't showed up, are elevated from the outside view, but they can accede from the inside of the country. What is need is ad forests.
Fauna
Gyzardon
The fauna in Nothgard isn't different of many other countries, but there resides a unique species that doesn't exist anywhere, a quadruped lizard named 'Gyzardon'. They're large quadrupeds lizards of different scale colors of the same size as horses, but more lethal thanks to their claws and jaws. The Empire soon learned how to tame them, and they were used as a variation of the horse riders.
Ancient Underworld
An ancient world that always existed from the times of the first Chief God. This world had always been underground, completely ignored by the surface dwellers.
There exist many creatures that don't exist at the surface, in conjunction named 'Dinosaurs'. These Dinosaurs are creatures of many sizes and types. Some of them are very small, others are bigger than houses, others can fly, some of them eat only vegetables, and others only eat meat. There also is a flora that doesn't exist at the surface.
Living there, too, exist a primitive race of creatures that evolved from the Dinosaurs, named Saurians. They live together in tribes, all of them following the guidance of a chieftain. They also learned how to ride their Dinosaurs counterparts for what they need.
For those who have their doubts with them, even if they're similar to monsters, they're at the same level as humans in evolution, and what is more surprising, the Saurians are completely immune to the Demonic Energy. A proof of this is the constant birth of both males and females in their tribe.
It is good to know that it has been spotted some Monster Girl wandering around this tribe after their discovery, and some of them mated with the Saurians, believing that this will finally give them their wished Incubi children, but with no result.
Conquered Northgard Territories
Norgam: The city on the other side of the Nothgard's Gorge. Said city stands just in front of Nothgard's frontiers. It's so near that from the city you can see the mountain ring and Nothgard's Gorge entrance at the distance. Is also one of the biggest cities of the conquered territory, thanks to the commerce between Norgam, the cities inside the conquered territory, and Nothgardmur, this and the former being separated only by the Gorge
Helldown: This place, which actual localization is unknown, is the largest prison of the Empire, built underground and using an abandoned underground colony as a foundation. There you can find from the worst scum and criminals to captured enemies and extremely violent Monster Girls, and the security is very strict. There are many prisons around the Empire, but no one as Helldown itself. It's rumored that if a god is jailed there, the only form that he can to get out is being released by the wardens. But it is only a rumor, after all.
Whatever all the people outside believe, the conquered territories of the Empire don't live into the type of 'extreme slavery' that everyone believes. If you visit one of the cities, you will see that the people there are living their lives peacefully, with the local and bred Monster Girls helping in the towns and cities, and the guardians of the Empire watching from problems. Anybody could look at it as a normal city until it spots the Empire's flags and guards. The reason why the Empire can maintain control of the countless territories? Because before of made a new movement to a new city or region, they try to win the trust and respect of the people inside the recently conquered zone, ever trying to repair any damage done during the battle.
Actually, the Nothgard Empire's territory makes frontier with the Order and the Demon Lord Family's Demon Realms's frontiers. And so the defenses of the cities are very tight to avoid sudden invasions from the Order or the Demon Army.
Fauna
The fauna in the conquered territories of the Empire is very hard to describe or classify. There are so many zones and territories, with their own fauna, that is impossible to explain in short words.
Military Power
The Empire's military forces are divided into 4 forces.
Imperial Legion: This force is actually formed by the soldiers trained inside Nothgard Empire's quarters. They're very disciplined, obedient, and they know the handling of their weapons and siege weapons. Nearly all the equipment they wear is forged with Nothgil, which makes them more resistant to the usual weapons used by the Order and the Demon Army. They're usually commanded by Generals named by the Emperor itself.
Monster Army: This force is formed by Monster Girls bred inside the walls of Tiamatnur thanks to the Echidna Matriarch Tiamat and her Echidna tribe. Thanks to a fast pregnancy spell, around 50 Echidnas gives birth to new monster girls every week, and the fathers are always the best warriors suited for the project. Only the Echidna Matriarch Tiamat is permitted, by her own will, to have the 9 months pregnancy period, only being breed with the strongest warriors. The Monster Girls that can fight are trained since childhood to fight and serve the Empire. The races that can't fight are used to help the Empire's infrastructure. A similar system is used with every Monster girl born inside the Empire. The Monster Army is always commanded by the Monster Girl Generals, and all of them are Tiamat's daughters. There are odd exceptions that a human is named General of this army. They're used mainly as a counter against the Demon Army because a Monster Girl seduce another Monster girl is extremely uncommon.
Saurian Tribe: This force is formed by the Saurian tribe. They use primitive tactics for battle, but their use of the Dinosaurs as mounts turn them lethal, and they're always prepared with weapons and equipment forged with Nothgil. They're always commanded by the stronger members of their tribe.
Iron Army: This force is formed by automatons created and manufactured by the Empire. They're mainly used as siege troops, but they can be deployed as a frontal or support army when needed. Every unit is immune to Demonic Energy so it can't be monsterized.
Specters: An all-female secretive group that operates in the shadows as agents of the Empire in secret operations as espionage, counter-espionage, and even assassination.
Policy, Commerce, and Alliances
Ever the Emperor itself knows that an empire so large as his, that competes with the Order and the Demon Realms, can't be held if there are enemies everywhere. Having two clear enemies, the Demon Realms and the Order, he doesn't need more nations that try to attack his back while he attacks the front. Also knows that trading can be a good method for getting resources for his empire that he can't get easily from his territories.
When dealing with commerce, the empire tries to find nations that are unrelated to the Order or the Demon Realms, and after of find it, try to know what that nation needs and what can offer. If that can work, then he will turn that nation into a 'Commerce Ally', which the only relation is the commerce, and so the actions and situation of a side will not bother the other. When the other nations reject the Commerce alliance, the Empire tries to convince them with every method they have, clearly avoiding weak themselves during the process, using the threat of war as the last resource. He doesn't want to waste military resources only by a resource war.
About the topic of Alliances, it seems to look for strong allies, seeing how the Empire does war. It has been discovered that when the Empire attacks a territory, it always sends a proportional number of soldiers based on the Territory's extension, enough to smash a weak territory. The ones that can't last at least an attack are turned part of the Empire. But, if said nation is able to fight back the Empire, whatever is in their losing moments of is holding back the attacks, the Emperor can call a ceasefire of the campaign, and then start negotiations for try to turn in into an ally, respecting the nation's strength, ever offering resources and help for repair the damage caused, always that the Nation doesn't do any military action against the Empire.
Also, when a foreign nation asks for help to the Empire, and when they help the nation, the Emperor can decide if maintain the nation under his protection, and aids it to its countless territories or leave it alone, offering resources for help to restore the nation in exchange of a 'Commerce Alliance' at least (Former will be more problematic than the later if the Nation's frontier isn't attached to the Empire frontier). But if he sees that the nation has much to offer to the Empire, and can grow stronger without his control, the Empire will offer the resources needed for it, and turning it into a full ally with all the meanings of the word.
If the Empire meets a strong enemy with a powerful leader, is possible that the Emperor fights him directly, and if he likes the rival, he can try to turn him into an ally by mutual respect, offering him a seat at his side when the day of siege Royal Makai arrives.
It's also said that a Pharaoh, by turning herself into an honorific member of the Imperial Harem, was able to turn her nation into an ally, without the need to fight against the Empire.
But yeah, the military objectives as the Order's nations, the Demon Realms' nations, or vital strategy points, will be not turned into allies, but be added to the Empire after conquering them, regardless if they're strong or not.
