"Come on, keep moving" a large man clad in armor shouted as he wiped the sweat from his brow, the rays of the sun above shining down as it sat there amongst a clear blue sky, looking down upon miles of vast, mostly empty desert.
The man walked, his armor clanking, behind him, varouis wagons, filled to the brim with varouis goods and wares, heading towards one of the few cities in what would otherwise be a desolate wasteland of sand and rock.
He was one of many guards escorting these vital supplies across the desert, protecting it from the varouis bandits and monsters who scrapped a living in this land of barren dunes and dry pits.
The man wiped is brow again, before taking a small pouch from his side, taking out the cork cap as he went to consume it's contents, tilting his head back as he did.
He stopped when it suddenly became dark, which was promptly followed by a voice.
"Fuuucccckkkk meeeeeeeee"
Moments later, the sound of fruit being smashed was heard, which promptly caught the attention of him and many of the other escorts.
He approach the source of the commotion, his spear now in hand, sweat pouring down his brow, as he slowly stepped towards one of the wagons, which now had a large hole torn in the fabric which was used to cover its once tasty contents.
He nodded to one of the other guards, before he approached the hole, his spear held out as he peered in side.
His irises focused on what was inside.
He saw the body of a man inside, one which was completely naked, his boy covered in bits of fruit and some strange sort of fluid, though his face was hidden in shadow.
He prodded the man leg with the tip of his spear lightly, receiving no response in return.
He gulped as he prodded a second time, this time much harder.
Suddenly, the man got up, swinging forward as the guard jumped back, clunching his spear and sticking it out defensivly towards the man.
The guard watched as the man touched himself with his hands, feeling his face and the rest of his body, before staring directly at the guard, his face slowly being illuminated as it was brought forward, a single blue eye gazing at him.
Suddenly, the man raised his arms, before letting out a shout.
"I'M STILL A VIRGIN"
The man panted heavily as more guards surrounded him, many with a confused look on their face.
The man looked at them as he smiled nervously.
"Um... i guess i have some explaining to do"
A few minutes earlier...
Maw of the beast
"It's dark, where am i?"
This was Garth's first though has he opened his eyes, only to be met with darkness.
He looked around, right, left, up and down.
Nothing but blackness.
He could feel his back resting on something solid, but he couldn't make out what it was, nor did he have the luxury of movement.
He seemed to be in a small, confined space.
He took a deep breath, the air seemed hot and humid.
"Am i dead?" he spoke softly, whimpering slightly.
During his years traveling, he had brushed up agaisnt death many a time and had accepted the fact that he could die at any time.
Didn't mean he was ready to kick the bucket.
He suddenly felt some thing move against his back, which shocked him and caused him to try and sit up, only to be met by something soft in front of him. His eyes widdened as light seemed to push the darkness away. At first, everything was fuzzy, but as his eyes got used to the change in light, he saw what was in front of him... and around him... which drained the color from his face.
"Oh fuck me" he said has he tried to wriggle away, which only caused the one in front of him to smile has she put her hands together and closed her eyes.
"Milisa thanks you for the meal"
At this point Garth was wishing he was still on that balcony with that Pharoah.
Close and dangerous
Garth wriggled and squrimed, which only seemed to amuse Milisa.
The only good thing right now was the fact that he was still clothed, which meant he still had his virginity.
That didn't last long.
Has he wriggled, he felt the back of his clothes become wet, which was soon replaced by the feeling of soft, wet flesh.
His clothes were being desolved... at a rapid rate. He looked in panic has more fluid dripped onto his front, the patches of clothes which were touched soon desolving and disappearing, settling on his skin without harming in.
Infact, every time the fluid touched him, he shock went through him, the sensation of pleasure going through his body.
He bit his tongue, trying to keep his mind focused as his hands scrambled around his fast desolving clothes, trying to find something to get him out of this situation.
As he was doing this, Milisa started pressing against him, smiling as she did while holding his daggers in her hand, before throwing them above his head and holding on to him.
Her slarge, outer sandworm body quickly poped out the sand, opening it's mouth, before discharging his daggers into the sky with exceedingly powerful force.
"No sharp... to hurt... you" she said as she ran her tongue across his cheek, the both of them now bare.
Garth was now hard pressed to keep her at bay, the walls had now closed in, meaning he couldn't push her away or even move his limbs.
He only had enough room to keep moving his hands, which were now furously moving around, tyring to grab anything that may stave off what seemed to be the inevitable.
"Honey" Milisa called in a sweet, quite voice, her hands on both sides of Garths head, parting his hair, wanting to observe every feature of her (self proclaimed) husband.
She moved her head close to his, forheads touching each other, eyes locked on each other, as she went in for a kiss.
Click.
The strange sound quickly got Milisa's attention as she looked downwards.
To the skys
Milisa's eyes focused on the source of the object, it was small, round and grey, with the words P.E painted on the outside.
Moments later, the object released a yellow smoke, the smoke quickly filling the inside of Milisa's outer body, causing her to cough, along with loosen her grip on Garth, who quickly attempted to wriggle his way loose, though he was also cough as well from the smoke.
He coughed as he started clambering up the walls, or at least trying.
With the lack of gripping points, along with the walls being wet, made it next to impossible.
He had to hope then that Melisa would rest her body on the side as she filtered out the smoke.
That didn't happen.
Instead, the inner walls started to convulse, writhing uncontrolably, which caused Garth to be shaken about.
The walls then clamped down and quickly pressed agaisnt Garth, almost suffocating him.
"What the hell is hap..."
Garthed paused in his thoughs, before sweating greatly... surely she won't... no... she wouldn't.
The walls pulled back just in time to let Garth see Milisa holding both hands over her inner bodies mouth as the smoke started to thin out.
She wasn't looking well.
"... this is bbaaaaddd"
From the outside, a close observer would of seen the upper half of their outer body waving around widly in the air, yellow smoke erupting form their mouth, alopng with what seemed to be a small (in comparison to the worm), human shaped object.
"Fuuuuuuuuccccckkkkk mmmmmeeeeeee" some one would of heard as Garth was catapulted out of the sandworms mouth.
In hindsight, he probally would of killed for a harpy at this point in time.
A slightly altered story
After burrowing some clothes from one of the guards, along with the several of them giving him strange looks, Garth had went straight into explaining how he ended up crashing into the convoy... with some slight alterations.
"So there i was, in the maw of the sandworm, It's mouth filling with acid as i scrambled to try and keep away from the acid"
Garth was standing on top of one of the wagons, voice booming as he told his story, which had attracted several of the guards, including the convoys captain.
They stood there in awe as Garth talked, focusing not just on his voice, but on how he moved his body, how his hands flashed from side to side, putting life into his story.
"And that's when i used my secret weapon, one that made that sandworm discharge me from it's mouth, though it discharged some acid along with it that luckily was blocked by my clothing, though it's a shame i lost my clothes in the process, still, better naked then dead" Garth said happily before he burst into laughing.
The captain of the convoys guard stepped forward, his polished armor gleamming with light as he opened his mouth.
"So, you escaped a sandworm, not to many can claim that, however, i would like to know how you managed to avoid impacting the ground and turning into a bloody mess" the captian said, which caused many of the guards to look at him, before looking back at Garth, who looked a bit nervous.
"Well... um.. i know a little bit of wind magic which i used to slow my self down" Garth said, puasing for a moment.
"And when i spotted this convoy, i used that same magic to push me into landing in one of the wagons"
The captain raised his eye brow, before smiling.
"And what would you of done if you landed in a wagon full of weapons?" he asked.
"Well, we wouldn't be having this conversation would we" Garth replied as he smiled at the captain, which caused the captain to burst into laughter.
"That's true, still, you did cause some damage to this convoy and worse, you destroyed some of the food supplies that were destined for the city of Taloon, that can't be ignored" the captain said with a serouis expression, which caused Garth to stop smiling.
"Don't look distraught, if your able to use magic, it should be easy for you to repay the debt" the captain said with a reassuring smile.
Garth smiled at the captain, but inside, he was less then happy.
It meant he would be tied down for a while.
The Iron Gates
After a few hours, the convoy that Garth had crashed into reached the city of taloon.
Garth looked up, it's tall walls and large gatehouse acting as a barrier between the harsh outside desert and the bustling city behind the walls.
It was only when Garth got close to the gatehouse that he could truely comprehend the size of the entrance.
Vast... immense... none of these could properly describe what he saw as he steeped beneath the archway of the entrance, quickly ingulfed in the shadow of the immense archway as he approached the thick iron gates.
He could sense the presence of strong magic embued in the thick iron as his eyes scanned the doors.
They were signed with one purpose in mind, preventing anything from breaking into the city.
He took a deep breath as he followed the convo, keeping close to the convoy guards as each member of the convoy was checked by several white cloaked figures, hands glowing blue as they passed their hands over each person who passed, nodding each time.
Garth's heart was beating hard in his chest, he knew what they were doing.
They were checking for any demonic taint.
He took a deep breath as he approached, one of he white figures moving over to him and passinga hand over to him.
"I can sense some minor demonic taint, tell me, where have you been recently" the white robed figure asked, quickly draiwng the attention of several of the garrison, several of which rested their hands on their swords.
Garth smiled as he replied to the robed figure, who stepped back.
"Inside a sandworm, it spat me out, guess it didn't like the taste of me"
Silence engulfed the area, before one of the convoy members burst into laughter, quickly followed by everyone else.
The robbed figure seemed to relax, along with the soldiers near by, as he waved Garth through, though he whispered something to him.
"I do prey you aren't lieing, other wise you'll meet a most horrific end at the hands of the hero in the city"
Garth let out a sly smile as he walked forward, the gates opening as light seeped in, allowing him to get a good glimsp of the city.
The City of Taloon
Garth's eyes widdened as he entered the city, looking down at it as he observed the vast cityscape.
The city had been built on top of a large mineral deposit, which over the years had gotten deeper and deeper, the city being built from the outer part of the mine, towards the lower middle, vast circles of buildings and sandstone roads slowly reclining into the depths of the once active mines.
That said, there were large stone towers built across the city, looming over the buildings beneath them, some small, only big enough to fit a few soldiers in, while others large enough to house a full compliment of soldiers, small fortresses which over looked the land scape and in the middle, the largest of them all.
Well, it was incoorect to call it a fortress, it was more a large, raised sandstone platform which housed several barracks and a large building with the symbol of the order drapped over it.
This area was where the bulk of the orders troops were houses, its central hub, designed to hold out against a siege in the event, how ever unlikely, some one managed to break through the outer city defences.
Long sandstone roads connected this middle part to varouis vital areas of the city, the market, the farm land (which the order had spent considerable effort in cultivating), the storehouses and the outta walls, each allowed the order to quickly dispatch troops to any sector of the city that was attacked and each was littered with watch towers.
For any army looking to capture the city, it would be a tactical night mare trying to capture and hold any part of the city.
Garth gulped, this was not a place he would want to get into trouble.
Especailly if there was a hero in the city.
Garth took a deep breath as he moved into the city, he had to find a way to make some quick money so he could get out the city as soon as possible.
