Day 4-Write a story about a demon-type monster
It was a dark and stormy afternoon as Alan sat in the church preparing for Sunday services. The rest of the attendants were sitting in the aisles or waiting for others to trickle in. As their leader stood at the front of the room, preparing to give his sermon, there was a sound high up in the rafters of the church. The crowd screamed at the sight of a swarm of monsters appearing from portals above their heads, and on the floor beneath their feet, succubi, devils and and demons emerging to snatch up men in the stands, Alan winced at the sight of a hellhound crashing in through a widow and grabbing a man as she escaped through one of the portals. Flocks of dark angels followed, soon the building would be too crowded...He sat there, watching the chaos unfold. An Imp made eye contact with him and moved in, but he shot a warning look and she stopped before reaching him. Just as some of the monsters were trying to engage in their sinful behavior with the men and women, he gave the signal. “Soldiers! To your places!” Now the monsters were screaming, but not in pleasure like they hoped. Some of the crowd who’d been beset by monsters were now arming themselves with sharp, lightweight swords meant to cut down their opponents. Many of the monsters fled jumping through portals or into the air. Some stayed to try and capture their targets, but the soldiers' attacks were fierce and coordinated. As more of the monsters attempted to escape, mages deployed magical binds to prevent them from escaping. Alan watched one of the soldiers prepare to cut a winged demon down when the door was blown open and right off its hinges. Another monster was standing in the doorway, clad in black armor, a crude imitation of the armor worn by the valkyries sent by their god. “That’s a dark valkyrie!” He warned. “They are just as strong as our own, be on your guard!” The valkyrie plowed through the line of soldiers that had prepared to stop her movements. She swung a large sword every which way, cutting a path to the remaining monsters. When she reached them, she beckoned for them to follow.
“Thank you!” They called in a chorus, before fleeing. Alan watched the monsters leave.
“Curses! I didn’t count on a valkyrie”. He turned to address the crowd of civilians, who had taken to hiding under the benches. “Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to apologize for today’s disturbance. I am Alan Venkman, Undercover Operations Specialist working for the Order. We received a tip that this town was chosen for a religious conversion by demonic forces and we used this opportunity to ambush them. Though you may find our methods crude, I can report that all captured civilians will find themselves back at home within the day. All civilians have been tagged with a relocator, which will send them back to this building should they be transported by dimensional travel. We will now distribute spare clothing to anyone in a considerable state of undress, and we will leave you to get back to your business. Good day.” Alan walked down the stairs, ignoring more than a few dirty looks from people who weren’t happy to be used as bait. The remaining soldiers filed out after him.
---
Alan sat in a small room across from a woman dressed in the garb of a religious practitioner. Except that she also had horns, wings and tail. And a lustful expression on her face. “Now then, miss. You get 1 hour to read me your book. In exchange for giving us the tip on where your companions were attacking.
“Now that I’ve given you a tip, don’t you have a tip for me?”
“Reading only”, he remarked, motioning to the knife strapped to his side. He sat in stony silence as she read from a book of lewdly detailed description, of man and monster being joined together in pleasure, Of women succumbing to demonic energy to become monsters themselves. But never did he lose his composure, or move from his seat. After his timer rang, he rose from the chair. “Time’s up. You will leave quickly, out the back door, and be sure you aren’t seen. She looked disappointed, but complied.
Alan recalled the first time he had been approached by the strangest offer he had ever received. A monster, coming to tell him about where other monsters were planning to attack people, all in exchange for some time for him to listen and read her book? He asked her whether she wasn’t concerned about her fellow monsters.
“They are more than capable of escaping. I just want some time alone with you”. So he agreed, and began planning regular operations with his troops. The truth was that there was no Order Undercover Operations, just himself, with the monster’s advice, and rallying a small number of forces under his command.
“Sir! Our soldiers have completed the operations in town. Civilians have been returned, and we have completely withdrawn”. One of his men had come to report the results of their operation.
“Good work, that will be all for today”.
“Thank you sir. I still don’t know how you’ve discovered where all of these monster attacks were going to happen”.
“That’s not for you to know, soldier.”
---
Alan’s sting operations continued for several months, each followed by storytime with the monster. Until a particular day when he was sitting in another church. The monsters flooded into the building, and he commanded the undercover soldiers to commence counterattack. When out of the corner of his eye, something caught his attention, a little girl with horns. He thought to dismiss her as one of the weaker monsters, until he spotted her hooves. A baphomet!” She giggled and lazily flew around over the heads of the people, dispersing unknown magic everywhere.
“Sir!” A soldier called out. “Our mages are reporting that their magic is being disabled. The monsters are taking people and we can’t stop them!”
“All forces retreat!” But more monsters were waiting outside, in the skies and on the rooftop. They picked up the retreating soldiers, leaving the others caught between the invaders from both in and outside of the building. Many of the monsters were preparing to undress their chosen men, and there was Alan, frozen in place at the front of the hall. The baphomet descended in front of him.
“Hey mister, you look pretty powerful yourself, but unfortunately, I have to leave you for someone else.” Before Alan could answer, he fell right through the ground.
---
Alan found himself awake in a bed. But as he tried to move he found his wrists held by chains.
“What is the meaning of this?” He demanded.
“Good morning darling”. A familiar voice.
“No, it couldn’t be-”
“Hello there, Alan. How good of you to join me.” The monster appeared before him, wearing the same dress she always had, but now she appeared even more alluring than before. “You ever thought to ask what kind of monsters would be part of the attack. So I enlisted the help of someone particularly strong for this time. Though I doubt you would have been able to find anyone powerful enough to best her”. She cupped his cheek. “And now, I’d like to read to you the final chapter of my book.”
“Is that what everything has been leading up to?”
“Of course”. The monster started to read. But unlike previously, Alan found himself getting hotter and more uncomfortable. He felt a tightening in his pants, and just the sight of her sitting on the side of the bed reading filled his head with ideas about what they might do together.
“Tell me. Why did you bother with so many previous meetings? If you could have just taken me from the beginning. And why am I being so much more affected by your book?”
“Well, to answer your second question, we’re in Pandemonium now, a heaven for monsters to spend endless days with their lovers. It will have a far greater effect than in a small room in your headquarters. And to answer your second question...well, I was hoping you would have remembered by now?”
“Should I know who you are?”
“Well”, she crawled over so she was on all fours positioned above him, with her face close to hers, “Let me give you my name. Li...Lil...Lilla”. She slowly dragged it out, until saying it in full. It hung in the air for a moment.
“I’ve never heard that name in my life.”
“What! You jerk, don’t you remember the woman who was training with you in your class, to be as Sister? We talked, and I said I looked up to you and hoped I could be as devout as you were.”
“Can’t remember every person I interact with once”. Lilla pouted.
“Well I remember, and I continued to hone my devotion even after being monsterized and turned into a dark priest. I never stopped practicing, just changed faiths. My superiors were so impressed by my idea, they let me lead the operation. And now....I’ve got you all to myself”. She lay closer to Alan, putting her hands into his, pressing her chest against his, twitching her tail. “I can give you the release you want. All you have to do is ask.” Alan strained to keep his mouth shut, but Lilla’s presence was unbearable.
“For god’s sake, take me already!” He blurted out.
“I’m so glad you asked.” Lilla leaned in close and gave a soft kiss. Alan held it, seeking to be as close to her as possible. His thoughts of devotion to the Chief God were starting to slip away. The only god he wanted to serve was the one that let him lie with Lilla.
---
“Oh god!” Lilla was mounted on top of Alan, riding him wildly. They finished, and Alan kissed her in thanks.
“Lilla, I can barely remember what life was like before you took me to Pandemonium.”
“It’s my pleasure to serve you, husband”. She snuggled close to him, as they lounged in the bed.
“So what’s this place like anyway? Haven’t even seen the outside of this little room.”
“Pandemonium can be whatever you want it to, Alan. Many monsters visit this place for a vacation. I think you’re going to love all of the things this realm has to offer. I’ll have to show you around. When we’re not so busy”.
