Day 6-Write a story with a Demihuman-type monster

Forest Patrol

Tabitha knelt down on the ground, examining the ground around the base of the little shrub, dwarfed by the other trees that were growing around it. “Looks like someone needs a little help.” She said to the small plant. She reached down and began plucking the grass and other little plants that were growing in the soil. The plants yielded easily, and she pulled them right out down to the roots, tossing them to the side. “Now you should have less competition”. She took one of the small twig-like branches in her hand, holding it gently. A few leaves had started to sprout. She smiled, satisfied with her work, then continued on her walk. The thick canopy blocked out the sun, allowing her some peace from her monstrous instincts. But she stopped when she saw, ahead of her, a group of people standing outside a horse-drawn wagon. What are they doing here? They were dangerously close to her cave.

“Hello? Are you there, madam?” One of them was calling out to her! She hid behind the tree and stood motionless, hoping they would leave. A gnome appeared from out of the ground.

“Eek!”

“Please, would you speak to my husband and his friends? We mean no harm.” The gnome spoke to her softly, and gestured to the group. Tabitha peeked out from behind the tree.

“What do you need?”

“We’re sorry for bothering you, madam. My name is Richard, and we’re a group of earth elementalists traveling to increase our numbers and our connections with other elementalists throughout the land. We got word that uh...one of your kind was likely living in this area, due to the health of the area’s plants. Could we perhaps interest you in, taking one of our own as your partner?”

“Cutting right to the point?” Tabitha shied away, almost out of sight. “I don’t know if I would be the right one for any of you.”

“I don’t know about that, madam. Our boy Tierno hasn’t taken his eyes off of you.” Richard chuckled, slapping one of his companions on the back. Tierno blushed, and tried to step closer to the tree Tabitha was hiding behind.

“Ma’am, I think you’re...very beautiful. I would love to live with someone like you.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, absolutely. I’m positive!” Tierno took a few steps forward.

“Well then, you could come back to my place if you like”. Tierno stepped up, right next to Tabitha. He tried to take her hand, but she hid them behind her back. “And what can I call you?” He asked.

“Tabitha”. She walked back to her cave, Tierno by her side and the rest of his friends watching from a distance.

“We’ll camp here tonight, see how they find each other”. Richard said.

---

Tabitha led Tierno into her cave. Pulling the large boulder back in place, she saw Tierno looking nervous.

“Oh, I don’t mean to trap you, I just want to give us some privacy”. Tierno could barely think to ask what she meant, as the scent emanating from her body was starting to get to his head. She approached him and pulled him close, against her impressive chest. Tierno sighed a little, sinking into her soft squishy body. She sat down and lay back, sprawling her body out on the cave floor. Tierno continued to sink into her chest. “Is that all you want to do?” She asked, a bit more suggestively. She pulled him into a gentle kiss, Tierno marveling at the sensation. They began to pull away at their clothes, Tierno taking a chance to feel her unclothed breasts.

“Tabitha! I want you so badly right now.”

---

Tierno woke up in Tabitha’s arms. He tried to move but found himself held firmly in place. No complaints here. But now he could take a look at her hands. They were much larger than his own, and he found he could fit his easily in her palm. She stirred.

“Ah, darling. Did you sleep well?”

“I sure did”. He was still holding one of her hands and she tried to pull them away.

“Please don’t look at them. They’re too big”.

“What? No way, they’re beautiful.” Tierno blurted out before he knew what he was saying.

“How could my hands be beautiful?”

“Well, they look really strong. You were able to move that big rock. But they’re also really gentle. They feel nice. I don’t care if your hands look too big. I like them just like I like you.” Tabitha smiled shyly.

“That’s so nice of you to say, darling. Should we go now? Your friends are waiting for you, and I want to show you the kind of work I do.” They ate a breakfast of roots and mushrooms that Tabitha had gathered, then she rolled the rock to the side and led Tierno out. “I’ve been pruning these trees for years. I remember when some of these were just little sprouts, trying their hardest to compete for nutrients. And now, just look at how big they’ve become”.

“That’s amazing! This is just what we’ve been hoping for. Make the land fertile and green, allow the world to become more green.”

“Well, that’s not the only thing I want to become fertile…” Tabitha grinned at Tierno’s look of confusion.

When Tierno’s friends greeted the two, they saw how close both had grown.

“Well it looks like you’ve had no problems getting along with each other?” Samantha asked.

“Tabitha showed me all the work she’s done in encouraging the growth of this forest. She’s been doing exactly what we’ve been trying to accomplish. I think this is where we’re going to have to part.” He said his goodbyes to all his friends, and watched as the wagon pulled them out towards the nearby town, and the open road that would lead them on to their next destination.

---

Tabitha smiled at the sight of the luscious garden that she and Tierno had been tending. Two years now, and it produced a variety of nutritious fruits and vegetables which they traded to the nearby villagers. In exchange, the villagers traded them meat, which both enjoyed as a complement to their diet. As Tabitha sat in the shade, wishing to let her husband work, the leaves rustled. A stream of sunlight shined through the treetop and right into her eyes.

“Ooooooohhhhh” She moaned.

“Honey? Is there something wrong?” Tierno walked over to where she sat at the mouth of the cave. Tabitha swooned, the flowers in her head and arms were already growing strong, but now they had begun to soak in the sun, sending aphrodisiac essence throughout her body.

“Come her husband. I’m feeling a bit of sun today. And I think,” She picked him up and carried him into the cave, “That I might be ready for a sprout of my own”.
