Order fort N419
Tuesday XXX XXX XXX
For years, like every Tuesday Our resident Hakaishin invited himself for lunch in this Fortress held by the Order. The military baked beans with sausages were something divine, that was by now a traditional Tuesday lunch in this fort.
What's more, that specific fort was an impossible target for the monster girls, not for their lack of trying, though. They now know better and steer away from that 'cursed' place.
The cook there was the source of their fortune, or misfortune, depending on who you ask. He almost costed the Order a single afternoon eradication, starting with the Pope himself as the greedy nobleman wanted to transfer him into his castle, big mistake. Needless to say the destroyer deity was enraged to find out what happened when he stopped by one Tuesday sometimes ago. By now the talented cook was treated as the fort's VIP, an untouchable, the church even gave him a big reward, if the rumors are true. All because of his baked beans, the steam rising from it and the otherworldly effect the delicacy had on a famished Hakaishin.
It was a normal thing for Ningens to wait until the big boys finish filling their plates; pecking order, butterin' toast and all what goes with that. some heroes and mages, mostly noble pricks disagreed every now and then, and ended up reminded of their place (and also how I met my former Order heroine waifu, but that happened on a different occasion) . When he visited Fort419 before he would often had to fight the currently stationed there big shot Hero, and he eventually grew bored and decided to train the flag carrying boy to fight in his stead. The young man is still undefeated, (and single, Ladies ;P).
And so, Tuesdays passed, some Fridays as well with couple Sundays in between, until the first rays of sun announced the start of one fated Tuesday. Seems until then either Aro never 'lucked' the day, or this type of a higher up, divine inspection of sorts never happened in this fortress. By now he was all but used mingling among the soldiers and low ranking officers who all but become stationary force there as the Order stopped trying to train or even station heroes there for that matter after many of the most known names in the entire Order organization outright refused to ever step foot in that 'nightmarish' place.
Since he was wearing a low ranking Order officer uniform, mostly in jest, he went completely unnoticed by the duo of pearl skinned beauties that literally descended from the sky in a fashion these Ningens would often use to describe divine beings arriving into the lower plains. Their wavering hair illuminated by the late morning sun shone like the golden wheat before the first northern snow in their descent. Their majestic white wings folded on their backs as they landed gracefully in the middle of the fort's courtyard.
Their eyes, green like the early spring pastures protected by the always white peaks for one and blue, like the raging, unyielding sea of the north for the other, darted around in a calculated, ingrained, to say, military fashion. They were certainly assessing the state of the fort and the forces manning it with great diligence, as it was the task given them by their goddess.
Aro recognized them to be Valkyries by the runes on their ornate armors and swords, and the size and shape of their wings. They were indeed beings of true beauty and elegance, he pleasantly noted admiring the battle maidens, as they stood still for a few short moments before he unfortunately had the honor to experience their less prettier side, their attitude.
The two beauties weren't a whole minute there and they were already barking orders, berating the various squad leaders for their incompetence and slow reaction as they failed to rally their men to line up for inspection causing quite the ruckus in this otherwise quiet and peaceful morning and before lunch time, to make it even more irritating. This annoyed the Hakaishin greatly as his stomach grumbled in protest seeing his breakfast was kept rather 'light' expecting to make up for it when lunch came.
He frowned, inwardly cursing his luck at his predicament when it turned from bad to worse in the time his mentally yelled obscenities weren't halfway done. One of the short tempered beauties had set her sights onto him, like a predator would do to it's unsuspecting prey.
