MGE - MANOMO FAN CREATION - GORE MAGALA
The Gore Magala is an ancient monster dating back several hundred years ago, when every landscape reeked of deaths. They are a race which has had humanoid bodies since the very beginning.
Gore Magala
Not a whole lot is recorded about them in either human history or demonic scribing’s, but they are believed to be descendants of a woman sorcerer and some form of malicious creature.
The only crystal clear information regarding them is that they are a completely independent race, tied to neither humans nor demons in any way whatsoever. They have no known dialect and their only known goal is to wreak havoc.
In truth, a Gore Magala is a monster bearing humanoid shape that is driven by thought and instinct. They possess the unique ability of causing other monsters to go into frenzy; a powerful virus which will effectively turn the infected beasts completely savage.
A frenzied monster will continuously go on a rampage wherever it sees population or any sort of life, infecting other beasts with frenzy as well. Once a big enough army has been amassed, the Gore Magala will summon these creatures and begin a long journey across the continent, killing all who happen to be in their way, drawing attention upon themselves for the purpose of finding that one particular individual of opposite gender.
Magala’s are often times engaging dragons in duels, always regarding them as rivals. Their skin offers as much protection as the dragons and their strength is on equal par. However, they will vastly outclass a dragon when the Magala’s themselves become frenzied.
Upon defeating a dragon, they will frenzy it and take over its mountain and treasures whilst turning the dragons into powerful but loyal bodyguards.
Gore Magala’s absolutely despise demons and their attempts of control over them, thus, usually half the Magala’s will drive their forces in demon land, wishing nothing but to exterminate everything. Afterwards claiming that land as their own since they are not affected by demonic energy in any way or form.
As soon as an army or a party of skilled individuals manages to kill most, if not all her subordinates, the Magala will engage them in battle, seeking out the one individual among them who fits her search standards.
Once this individual is found, she will cover him with her virus, pinning him in place until she kills the rest of the opponents. It is possible for the binded human to escape her prison, but only through means which are of the utmost purest.
For example, a human who is binded may escape by covering his body in a coating of holy flame, gifted as protection by a higher life form or divinity, if that is the case.
When the Gore Magala is done defeating all other threats, sometimes even killing monsters under her command, she will unbind her initial target, taking the viral frenzy unto herself, empowering the Magala for a duel with this man.
Before doing so however, she will introduce a tiny amount of virus into the humans body, marking him for later search and to show to other Magala’s that this human has already been scouted, though, that won’t stop other Magala's from killing him, or claiming him as her own should she be in a relation of hatred with the Magala that first marked the man.
These partners are not randomly chosen, they are selected via their skill and ability. A human must be on the exact same level as the Magala when facing it, and must perform a certain cycle of actions. These actions always differs from Magala to Magala per personal preference, such as using a fire spell one too many times, or attacking in a certain pattern. These actions will most of the time indicate to the Gore Magala what kind of personality the target has and how difficult it might be to pacify and bring him under her control.
A Gore Magala will never allow herself to be captured, as they absolutely hate being at someone’s mercy. They are insubordinate to others races, being a very free species.
Should a Magala get captured however, they will enter a frenzied state where their strength, speed, endurance and their regenerative power are vastly multiplied whilst also having their pain receptors sealed off. This in turn will help them greatly to escape containment. They will also surround themselves in a thick protective shell of viral frenzy, effectively increasing their defenses against any ranged projectiles, including spells.
Should that also fail, the Gore Magala will completely turn herself into a cloud of black smoke, or dust and escape prison. However, it takes them more than a year to completely revert back to their original form. From there, their search continues.
The only reason they will accept confinement, is if the person they have scouted personally captured and sees them at least once a day. Should a day pass without seeing him, they will break into a frenzy or turn into a cloud of smoke to escape confinement. Upon returning to their original form, they will begin tracking down the human they have marked.
Should a human attempt to rape a Magala while she is confined, she will immediately turn into a frenzy and break free of the chains, intent of fighting whoever is assaulting her. In the case it’s her marked favorite, the virus in his body will weaken his mind and muscles to prevent him from doing such a thing and allowing the Gore Magala to escape unhindered.
Not all Magala’s are friendly with one another. Unless two or more Magala’s are bread from the same womb, they will do battle to test out the might of their armies and the strength of their frenzy.
Sisters can call upon sinters to receive aid in either waging war with demons, or merely finding a suitable male, in which case they will dominate the man and force him to give them young. Sisters will also attempt to save another Magala of their family when she was imprisoned, the two then leveling the capturer’s forces but keeping him alive for further pleasure.
Regularly, after fighting with her marked target once, the Magala will flee the scene, intending on finding a place where she may train and improve her skill. The human must do a similar task so as to be at the exact same level when the Magala challenges them a second time.
Should a human with an overwhelming power hold back so as to match the Magala’s strength, she will immediately sense this intent, marking this target as ‘dangerous’ and attempting to run away. After escaping, it is up to the Magala if she wishes to train and improve herself to match this human’s actual level of power, or to merely avoid him for the remainder of their life.
In the case that a human does not match the Magala’s level at the second confrontation and she easily defeats him, she will discard that human as pathetic and never again attempt to copulate with him, even if he shows up a third time ten times more powerful than her. At that point, he has become an aggressor who represents a threat to her and her future cubs.
A Gore Magala will not mate with her favorite until they have fought at least three duels at the exact same level of power. She will accept him only after he has defeated her that third time, then infecting the man with a different type of virus, which will permit him to forget about all those possible friends the Magala has killed, thus, allowing for peaceful mating between the two.
When two or more sisters gather to take on a man, they will ignore the three duels rule and will proceed to straightly engage in lewd activities. One single Magala has the endurance to last for two days straight, as such, when facing the challenge of two or more of them, the man must be an idol of vigor and vitality to survive. Should he fail to exceed expectations, the Magala’s will mark him with a virus that reeks of pathetic, which brings great shame unto him.
Others of their race will immediately sense this man’s weakness and will discard him as a piece of garbage, as Gore Magala’s absolutely despise weakness.
In the case of a single Magala; after just one breeding session of two days, she will flee the scene, going far away to hide herself deep within mountains and hibernate until its either time to give birth, or her man finds her before she bears young. Should he fail to find her, the Magala will forget everything about him and tend to the young. Should he find her, he will be accepted by her as part of family and he will be further injected with a virus that boosts his immunity to a great degree of diseases and a virus which will allow him to understand their dialect.
In these mountains, if there happens to be two or more Magala’s who have received seed, they will be friendly to one another, as they are past the aggression faze of the young ones. The ones that bear young are regarded as ‘adults’ and are often adhered to by the Gore Magala’s that never bore young or received seed.
For example, a mother might order a completely unrelated Magala to guard her with her army until delivering new life onto this world. They often times do such to further test the man who had the pleasure of mating with them.
When a large number of humans have been marked by a Magala, each of them failing the second encounter, the Magala will retreat into the mountains, usually where others of her race deliver young and will attempt a ‘rebirth’. They will begin shedding their skin, leaving behind all of the darkness they once had.
These rebirthed monsters are called Shagaru Magala as their new scales are colored white instead of black. Their purpose is to be like a queen to all other Magala’s, providing the younger ones with information as to where to attack to much quicker find their partner and to soothe the pain of the Magala’s who are birthing children but do not have their male partner with them.
But, the Shagaru Magala cannot be happy. She is like an abandoned flower which has aged beyond anyone’s liking and who’s only purpose is to offer what little guidance she has left as if she were a grandmother.
In truth, the Shagaru Magala quietly awaits a man who can stand up to her. This man must pierce the mountains defenses, defeat all its inhabitants, yet kill not a single one of them. This will in turn demonstrate his superiority and will mark him as a grandfather of all those inhabitants.
Upon reaching the Shagaru Magala, she will speak to this man through telepathy, offering him a place at her side. If he accepts, she will put up no resistance, as she herself is tired of all the conflict and fighting and the man will be recognized as a king of that mountain dwelling.
Today, Magala’s are nigh extinct, mostly due to the fact that not enough of them managed to find suitable partners with which to copulate. Their aggressive attitude did not change a bit when the latest demon lord came to power, as her corruption did not reach whatever few Magala’s remained.
Author's Notes:
Yes, this is a monster from Monster Hunter. Do be aware that the events in this story took place in the course of several centuries ago when scary monsters are not round and cute manomos and that today, Magalas are near extinct. A Magala mates strictly with a human, no incubusses allowed and there can be male Magalas born, but their birth rate is just very dimished. I may or may not make a Fan Fic featuring a Magala, but don't take it as a certainty.
