Allies

Riona

Full name Riona Mhic Corbáin. She's a woman with long black hair, tanned skin, and an eyepatch over the left eye with a notable scar on her cheek. She looks fit so she could probably hold her own in a fight. From what I saw she seems to prefer to use a worn broadsword. She has a carefree, laid back, joking but responsible personality.

I met her at her little supply shop the night after arriving at the unnamed port village I landed at. I proposed the idea of traveling together from there to Istvan due to her having supplies and looking to move from there. We bonded a bit and helped save Fifi from the Empire on our way to Istvan.

One day while going to the club she frequented at to get drunk she told me about her past… It was quite tragic. It was the reason for her eyepatch and why she always got drunk before bed to avoid remembering through her dreams. It was hard to hear but… I feel as though we got a bit closer after that. I consider her a true friend.

Eventually, I offered her a job to keep my house clean and watch over Fifi while I go out on work in exchange for cash and an actual home to stay at. Life has been much more lively since then and Fifi says she's been getting better at cooking which is nice.

I have noticed she likes to try and tease to get me flustered from time to time, even taking my hand to her chest to try and get a reaction out of me. While I have gotten used to her usual attempts I’m afraid it’ll escalate from her last comment about it… But I doubt it. Yup, definitely won’t escalate. Exactly 0% that she will try anything over the top… Right?

----

Allayna (Aliza)

A Dark Priest with long silver hair who wields what I believe is a dragonslayer swordspear. Very strong with a wide range of abilities but… Has a pervy, obnoxious, annoying at times personality that usually clashes with mine or the people around me. She also followed me around in secret for no reason which was a bother.

Met her on our way to Istvan and ever since she's been hanging around. Usually wants spirit energy from me through sex for any favors she does me but I choose the more painful option as I rather go through that than the alternative. She also tried to relate to me one time and even went ahead and told me about her life story to show she understands how I feel or something. I don’t know why since I didn’t care but alright.

While I do see her this way, she is a valuable ally that has helped on multiple occasions like bringing clothes after ours were stolen, fighting Brakks, the war, helping save Fifi and hunting that Kelgard. While she does call me a friend, I can’t say the same. As far as I see it we’re allies and nothing else.

She also has the ability to read minds at ‘random’. Annoying.

----

Fifi

It's a bit odd putting her in ‘allies’ but I have no other place to put her. She's a small harpy that I met on my way to Istvan along with Riona, Allayna, and Whiskey. Her village was wiped out along with her parents by those bastard Empire soldiers and we found her hiding in a trapdoor covered in soot and grime, crying. After a bit of time, I managed to create a suitable home for her to live in, with me being her… I guess unofficial adoptive father? I’m unsure… But I’m just happy that she's happy now.

I don’t know much about her thinking about it now like birthdate, favorite color, or anything of the sort. I should really ask her and even spend more time with her. One thing I know is that she likes reading that adventure book I got her. Think it was called ‘A Journey Beyond’. I should probably try reading to her sometime when she heads to bed.

Though there's one thing I know for sure: Hell will freeze over before I let anything happen to her.

----

Xalanth

A large draconic male with black scales. He’s notable and since we seem to be on good terms I’m putting him here. He has a high and mighty personality, usually calling me along with others weaklings. It can be a bit annoying but for the most part, I can deal with it. He pays by crate and not by the hour.

I once decided to leave Fifi with him when I went out for work and pleasantly heard from her that he was a great caretaker. Might be a father. Besides this, I don’t know much about him. I did hear that he got into an intense fight with a strong opponent. He must also be pretty strong, even for a Dragon.

----

Lin

A cat woman that works at the Hero's Inn. She has the ability to see an entire person's life by just looking in their eyes. Due to this, I decided it is reasonable to make a note on her here. She, from what I saw, has a laid back personality but a tiny bit of a perv. Rin is her sister. She and Rin document heroes in The Hall Of Heroes.

It gave me a hell of a panic when she recalled my entire life's story. I was even willing to bribe her not to say anything. Luckily she doesn’t go around telling people about other's pasts even if they’ve done horrible things.

If you're watching me write this through my memories, Lin, I guess past me says hi?

----

Rin

The more mature sister of Lin. I never talked to her but from my understanding, she acts more mature than her sister. She also has the ability to remember anything. She and Lin document heroes in The Hall Of Heroes.

Last time I visited the inn she greeted me there and we talked a bit and she gave me a quest to go save a monster village. She also went ahead and told me that Oculus has been getting attention by... I assume in general. And from the sounds of it, it was the good type of attention.

----

Captain Neville

I met him while trying to capture the princess. Strong man that uses magic. It made a tricky opponent but I ended up winning the fight between us. Looking back on it I feel bad. Luckily no harm came to his princess and I left on bad terms with him and the royal guard.

The next time I encountered him was when I took up a bodyguard job which led up to me helping with the war effort. During this time we became allies and while I wouldn’t say we became friends I will say there was a great deal of trust between the two of us with him trusting me to lead an army against the enemy kingdom. I came to find that he was a capable and great man.

Sadly he lost his life at the final battle where we finished the war. I have regret thinking about maybe there was some way to have avoided his death… I just hope he was able to pass knowing we won and that Helena was safe… Rest in peace, you deserve it.

----

Princess Helena

A young princess that has taken control of Aquarias after the passing of her father. I met her just as I met Neville. Luckily she was able to head to her kingdom unharmed. She's a benevolent and kind person, even still paying me after for escorting her the rest of the way. I didn’t deserve that amount of kindness at the time.

The next time I met her was when I took up the job as her bodyguard then helped on the battlefield. She was willing to marry someone that she had no interest in her for the kingdom. Quite selfless of her, something I appreciate. She's not the strongest of rulers but I see potential in her. I ended up being the person to tell her about Neville's death which she broke down crying but soon regained her composure.

Once we won the war there was a celebration held. There she gave me a summoning crest and I gave her a communication stone to contact me at any time. I can tell she’ll be a valuable ally.

----

Julia (Echo)

I met Julia after finding her inside the ancient ruins. She has long silver hair and bright blue eyes with fair skin and mechanical parts around the arms and legs. After waking her up she downloaded something that gave herself free-will and demanded us to explain who we were and what we were doing there which we then explained.

After realizing that her home was not what it used to be I offered her to travel with me and ever since she's been a valuable ally and friend. Her powers range from flight, forcefield, energy weapons from melee to long-range but she does need to charge using either sunlight or moonlight. I also noted that her model is Combat Model 43-01 and that she's a support class. It makes me wonder just how much more powerful the other models are. She also refuses to tell me what they were creating in those ruins… Oh well.

Due to her never having a will of her own she doesn’t really know what she likes or doesn’t and so I’ve decided to help her out with that. I noticed she tends to blush when it comes to physical contact or talking about certain topics. She also seems to enjoy dancing. Also, she seems to have taken an interest in Gloria. It makes sense since they both are from around the same time.

I consider her very important to me and I couldn’t imagine life without her by my side.

----

Vendrick

A member of The Powder Kegs. He wears a mannequin mask over his face. I know practically nothing about him except that he has a mischievous nature, likes to test people, and that his Stand allows him and other people to hide and travel in shadows being almost undetectable.

During our first meeting, he had a skeleton harass us and blew out the torches we had that kept a large spider Mamono away. It seems like he's done thankfully.

He’s the one that invited me into The Power Kegs.

----

Rykerin

A man with blue eyes and carries weapons like a large sword, combat knife, and throwing knives. He has a reasonable, serious but friendly personality. He seems reliable in a fight too. I don’t know much about him personally but we’re on good terms.

He says he had the ability to manipulate energy but I’ve yet to see him use this ability except seeing him fire bolts of electricity. I’ve also haven’t seen him in a while.

----

Cyn’a

A small, child Dragon girl that I met while on a quest to stop her from harassing a nearby mansion. Very childish and was easily tricked in a game of rock-paper-scissors. She has a big sister that I do not know the name of.

I came to her after our last encounter asking for help with a war which she agreed to take part in on the condition she takes home plenty of treasure and that she returns unscathed. She was a big help in the effort and I think she grew up just a tiny bit afterward.

We are on good terms. I also think she grew on me a bit. She loves eating food and collecting shiny things.

----

Cyn’as big sister

I know absolutely nothing about her except that she likes to take it easy and watches over Cyn’a. Well, I know one thing for sure and that's she's probably extremely powerful.

----

Grognak

A large, strong-looking man with black hair pulled into a ponytail. He has plenty of scarring and carries a large battle-ax. He came along the night after meeting Fil and said he was there to help with capturing the killer me and my group were after, sent by The Powder Kegs. Personality-wise, he seems aggressive.

His stand seems to allow him to control mossy wood.  He had three others with him during the final battle of the war but I have no idea who they are.

----

Fil (Ellen)

A green lizardman with short black hair and decently toned. She treats most things pretty seriously. I met her on our way to handle a killer. She allowed us to have some boar she was having and in exchange, I fought her the next morning. I won and the battle was a good experience but She ended up following me wherever I went and wanting marriage. I decided her work name would be Ellen.

I ended up letting her stay at my house in exchange for rent. If I haven’t then she would have just camped outside my house which would have led to a new set of problems. Since then I haven’t bothered collecting rent and gotten used to her being around. I guess she's grown on me…? I’m not sure. She could be a good training partner. She prefers to use a sword.

I can’t really understand her, though. She acts like she's going to win me over for marriage yet she hasn’t really done anything. Whatever, best it be that way.

----

The Boss

An older looking man with bandages over his eyes. He wears a tattered jacket with the hood up and carries a weapon that can turn into a sword and a bow and probably many other items. I know little about him except that he can give Stands to people using a golden arrow and that he runs The Powder Kegs. The arrows fired from his bow follow targets in strange ways.

If he has a stand then I’m not aware of what it is. I also think he has a serious personality. He says he gave me my stand because I reminded him of someone that used to work under him but left, even said that I might have met him already. I don’t recall meeting anyone like me though.

----

Miyuki

A woman that wears a light blue kimono and has blue skin. Her face doesn’t give much emotion. I know nothing about her except that her Stand can control snow and ice.

 ----

Kinzo

A man of eastern-ish origin with silver hair with black streaks and silver eyes appeared on our way back from the meeting with that damned prince. He was apparently fighting with his brother Kira, trying to keep a sword away from him. Luckily Kira fled and I gave him a healing potion. After that, he helped out with the war effort.

As far as I’m aware he doesn’t have any abilities but is a powerful fighter, being able to cut down multiple enemies in succession. Personality-wise, I’d say he's friendly and can be serious when needed.

He decided to come with us back home to Istvan and even ate dinner with us. I have a feeling we’ll see more of him.

----

Curt

A man that was once a slave but now free from the prince's control. I encountered him at the second battle I participated in and devised a plan on how to get into the enemy kingdom. After this, I had little to no contact with him afterward, though I wish him luck.

----

Rive

A Werewolf girl that I met while heading to recruit Cyn’a for the war. She has long white and black hair and tail along with one eye being blue and her other being yellow. When we first met she wasn’t prepared to fight me and decided to make a retreat, saying since she has my scent that she’ll come and find me one day.

After finishing with the war I headed back to where I encountered her to settle things. I went ahead and did the fight alone and either she was holding back last time or she thoroughly trained because it took everything in my arsenal to defeat her. It just goes to show how much I need to improve.

As for her fighting style, it looked like she valued speed and strength over any sort of tactics. She mostly just dashed around and slashed me with her large claws and overpowered me here and there with her overwhelming strength… Though she did use her howl to temporarily immobilize me which was clever.

After being defeated I helped her over to my group to be healed and found out about what happened to her pack… It was quite depressing. After getting healed up she decided to tag along with us back to Istvan. She has an uncensored and crude personality, not shy to speak her mind in whatever fashion she sees fit.

A part of me thinks that while she probably won’t admit it she enjoys being apart of a group again.

----

Captain Zalfor

This man has taken the role of captain of the royal guard after Neville's passing. I’ll probably be interacting with him more if I ever get called on by Helena for help or I go back to Aquarias on my own accord. While I don’t know him personally I wish him luck, he does have big shoes to fill after all.

----

Gloria (Ren)

I met Gloria after doing a summon with Helena. She's a young lady with medium length silver hair and eyes. Polite and dignified, she has talent using magic and was a great philosopher of the art along with being a great inventor. She describes herself as studious, nice, observant, and hard working. I got to know her a bit, finding out about her sister. I hope it didn’t bother her too much with me asking about it.

She prefers to use creation magic, dimensional manipulation, and time manipulation. I’m sure she's able to do all sorts of other types of magic at a master level too. She also mentioned some sort of competition for a wish that Summoners fight for with their servants. I don’t have much interest in it but I have a feeling I’ll be dragged into it either way. I also have three commands seals I can use on her which can do things like: Powering her up, summoning her to me in an instant, or force her to do a command that she would usually refuse. The first two I can see myself doing but the last I couldn’t care less about.

I look forward to further getting to know her and seeing all the things she can teach me about magic.

Enemies

Brakks

A Hunter of the Empire. He's a muscular man in a fur uniform with many medals decorating his chest. Bloodthirsty, hostile, and as serious as they come. This bastard was responsible for destroying Fifi's village and killing her parents. I swear, I’ll kill him… Though how to do it…

He seems practically invincible and so powerful he uses seals to keep his power low for fun, not even needing weapons. I even saw him take a powerful laser from a shot from one of his allies… He didn’t even flinch. A passage quoted from the book I got from the library:

Brakks- “The greatest hero of the nation. No weapons or magic can every truly damage him. His power capable of destroying tanks barehanded. Like every hunter, they specialize in a unique power. Brakks cannot use magic, but true to his hero nature. He cannot be harmed by any pathetic magic that our enemies can use. And most weapons can never hope to harm him. Our hunters are invincible.”

From my dream, I learned that he was some kind of outcast and decided to try and make a name for himself by going on a rampage and attacking the Emperor and then was made a Hunter. How did he get all the power in the first place? From the sounds of it, he was a nobody then suddenly he got all that power...

He seems slow but I theorize he has some sort of area attack judging from the attack on the village he did.

He also mentioned people going by the name Arrogence, Steel Commander, Tank Battalion Captain, and someone that's a doctor with the help of a fortune-teller. I should look into them. He said that he would have plenty of time to mule over his own existence… Perhaps a weak psyche

?

I also recalled Allayna telling me that she got the info that he uses seals to suppress his power for fun and safety. If he used all of it at once, his body would break apart. It's a way for him to adapt his body to his power, going one seal at a time. This means he's vulnerable at the start of a fight.

----

Whiskey

A young man that joined me and Riona while heading to Istvan. From what I saw he seemed fairly cowardly and easily jumps at the slightest of frights. I don’t know much about him besides being apart of the Order and not helping with fighting Brakks. As far as I’m concerned he’s an enemy and if he ever decides to attack then I’ll just have to put him in the ground.

He chooses to use a bow as his primary weapon from what I saw. We also had an argument so even if we did meet and not get into a fight I doubt he’d be friendly towards me.

----

Lena

The killer I and my group was after that one quest. She has long, golden hair with golden armor along with fair, white skin. Personality-wise she's quite pompous, arrogant and full of herself. She has the ability to create portals that can launch swords and other weapons and create a forcefield around herself.

I don’t know anything about her personally wise except she was a servant for some pig of a lord. She has some sort of weird animal that usually sits on her shoulder named Gryphon and seems to be the voice of reason. She’s also allied with some sort of angel named Morishige. While our last encounter didn’t end in violence, we are certainly no allies.

----

Morishige

Some angel character who wears a short white and blue dress along with a large hat atop her head that fights under Lena. She uses her invisible wings as defense and has surprising reflex, able to dodge bolts of electricity. She seems kind which is odd… She also looks to prefer a defensive strategy, spinning around opponents and tossing them away.

She also has orbs like one she called ‘Sin Of Pride’. Her powers must have something to do with sins… Thinking about it, she mentioned that Lena’s her summoner. I have a feeling we’ll be fighting again eventually...

----

Gryphon

I don’t know anything about this creature except his name and that he's the voice of reason for Lena. I feel bad for putting him here in enemies as it seems like the last thing he wants his violence but due to being aligned with Lena I have no choice.

----

Miki the clothing thief

Well… She isn’t exactly a threat but the creep stole all of our clothes which puts her on my bad side. All I know is that she wears all black, is a creep, and is tricky. I wonder if she's still stealing clothes around Istvan… Maybe I should look into it.

Side note: Why does she even want our clothing… Even my clothes? Creep…

----

Pig prince

Bastard prince decided to make war with Aquarias. A waste of oxygen, better off dead. He had nothing notable about him except being a pig. Good riddance.

----

Kira

I know nothing about this person except that he's brothers with Kinzo, is corrupted from something, violent, and is after a sword called the Chaos Sword… Or was it Chaos Blade? I honestly forgot.

----

Elizabeth

I’m not sure why but I felt like putting this name here while writing this all out. It just feels right.

Note: I have severe hatred towards this name and I don’t know why. Strange…

----

Crimson Reaper

A sadistic being that appears during an event called the Blood Moon. I should make a separate section on stuff like this later… This being takes the form of a woman but I’m sure it can take many other forms. She prefers to use a scythe as her main weapon. As for powers, to my understanding, she can warp, use unholy magic, mental manipulation, and probably among other things. She's also tough enough to take a fully charged laser pistol shot point-blank and only be scratched.

From the sounds of it, she might have a long history with the Order and Empire.

----

Colonel Volks

A simple looking man wearing a uniform. He came to me during the war to request that I not interfere with the Empire's plans. I refused his request and he left, saying that I will be a target in the future. While he looks like an ordinary man, I have a feeling he's a lot more powerful than what he seems...

----

The Emperor

The leader of the Empire to my understanding. I don’t know anything about him except that he was able to take on Brakks in a fight and from the sounds of it, win and has plans to wipe out all of monster life and try to make a unified world. To quote one of the men from my dream:

“He is the one that shines a torch in the darkness, he basically saved many of us himself, and he made it his duty to save all of mankind by gathering them under his wing. He is both a warlord, and a great ruler for the people. Great at both plotting farms and plotting plans. He is someone we would fight and die for to see a dream of a future free from threats.”

Ominous and powerful sounding… It makes a bit nervous thinking about fighting him.

----

Kelgard

The last of an ancient race of creatures. Since he… She…. It is the last of its kind I decided that I’ll just call it Kelgard. Julia knows this creature well as they fought them a fair bit in the past. It seems to only desire to eat everything it finds and seemingly evolves the more it eats. It large, able to crawl on walls, and dig massive holes but seems to lack a healing factor. Last time I fought it, it turned and ran away to who knows where.

If I ever encounter it again I’ll be sure to kill it.

----

Places

Unnamed port village

A small village that was so insignificant that it didn’t even have a name. Sad really. Suffered from constant attacks every night by Mamono which undoubtedly led to it becoming a ghost town… But that's what I assume. I haven’t been back there in a while… Maybe I should see for curiosity's sake. Its where I met Riona.

The place wasn’t very interesting besides the market. Some notable shops: Shop owned by an old man who was selling legendary items from a pirate. Pirate Gearfreed was it…? Selling a gold plate necklace named The Locket Of Fortune. The man said that it brought great luck to the wearer and misfortune to all around… I wish I had the money to buy it. Maybe someday if that man actually did leave in a caravan I’ll be able to buy it.

Then there was the voodoo shop run by a middle-aged woman. Rituals, speaking with the dead, using dark forces… Interesting but I’m not sure what I could do with all that. Though I wouldn’t mind looking into it. That woman also said beware the color red as I left… After some thought, it can only mean two things so far: The Empires symbol has red or the Crimson Reaper. Either way, both are dangerous.

The last shop was a small place that sells fossils. It had a wide variety too. Even Ghost Leviathan bones. It was interesting but I wouldn’t know what to do with them. Maybe some sort of clone? It be a powerful ally… If it could even be tamed. If not then I would have just made a massive problem.

----

Istvan

A sizable town a week away from the port village on foot. This is the place where I chose to settle down and buy a home. Ever since then I’ve been living here comfortably. Istvan is quiet, peaceful, and has plenty of things to do. Things like food and drinks tend to come cheap.

The Hero’s Inn is a cheap but high-quality place to stay with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Most heroes, like the name, says, come to stay there. There's even a quest board for people to pick up jobs. For a short time living there I enjoyed my stay. Rin and Lin also work there. Rooms are about 20 copper.

Then there's the shipping place where you can grab some quick coin if you have the muscle. Nothing really notable except the person who seems to work there, Xalanth.

The Eclipse Club is where Riona likes to head to dance and get drunk. I sometimes come with her, mostly to make sure she nobody takes advantage of her while drunk. Though I do admit, I enjoy the place.

The market is quite large and has various stalls to look over. Most notable shops are the clothing shop where I got clothes for Fifi.

The fortune-telling shop that allowed me to spy on Brakks who looked like wasn’t coming for me and everyone else. She also gave another warning ‘Beware of a secret. If you show dislike a thread will crumble…’. Cryptic. I have absolutely no idea what it could mean…

Then there are the blacksmith whos run by a dwarf with a grey beard. He sells quality armor and weapons for pretty cheap. He also has talent in making weapons from what I saw.

Then there's the machine shop which sells vehicles called motorcycles and is run by a younger man. Apparently they go even faster than horses… I should look into getting one.

The enchanting shop is run by an Elf who seems to loathe any human that walks into her shop. Though she sells high-quality enchantments so I have no problem dealing with her attitude.

Then there are places like the stables where I got my horse and generals and apothecary store where I get my supplies.

Finally, there's the Hall Of Heroes where Rin and Lin keep track of all sorts of heroes stories. I haven’t been there but I’m sure it's glorious.

----

Unnamed village near Aquarias

A poor village that was ruined by Helena's father. Nothing to note here but it's where I was tricked into helping capture and hold hostage the princess. To my displeasure, it was actually to try and kill her. Luckily I set things straight.

I haven’t been there since.

----

Aquarias

The kingdom that Helena now rules over it after her father's passing. It's fairly sized and the people there are friendly yet. There aren’t any certain shops that caught my attention but the kingdom does look nice. I’m sure after leaving the place the first time I acquired some infamy.

Though after the war it seems like the opposite happened and I’ve actually gained some fame there. It's comforting knowing that.

----

Ruins

A ruin connected to an abandoned mine. It's filled with ancient unknown technology and is the place where I met Julia. How I came upon it was taking a job as a bodyguard for researchers who suspected that something might be there. I also got my laser pistol from there.

Julia refuses to tell me what was being made there, whether by her own accord or in her programming is unknown to me. I don’t plan to force her to talk either. I do wonder if there's anything buried around there...

----

---------

Powers

Stand

The power of a manifestation of someone's fighting spirit. I received it from The Boss of The Powder Kegs. My Stand takes different forms with each form having unique powers. Its name is Bright Eyes.

Act 1 Bright Eyes is a small floating machine that acts childish at times. The power it gives me is the ability to move in a single direction instantly for a few feet. It has some use. As for the stand itself, it can run into things.

Act 2 Bright Eyes is much larger and gains a more human form. She carries with her a shield and lance making herself much more useful in combat. As for the power, it evolved into portals which I can create fair distances away. They have lots of uses such as covering large distances at once, surprise attacks, countering attacks, and even cutting objects that gets caught in the portals as they close.

----

Magic

After receiving the summoning crest from Helena I gained the ability to use magic along with gaining a new ally. So far I’ve only been able to create balls of elements and fire electricity from my fingertips, having some backlash after finding the tips of my fingers burning. I’ll have to further practice this with Gloria to better control my magic.

----

---------

Weapons

My armor

While armor usually isn’t considered a weapon, I’ve gone ahead and weaponized mine. Black leather with chainmail underneath. Light and easy to move in while also providing a fair amount of protection. Plenty of holsters for small to medium weapons or a few heavy weapons and pockets for important items like flash bombs and smoke bombs.

I also implemented grappling hooks that shook out from the wrists and hidden blades at the hands and bottoms of the feet. So far it's been extremely useful, utility wise and fighting wise.

I also went ahead and enchanted the armor with resistance to magic and physical attacks which should help protect me and keep the armor from breaking.

After my last trip, I NEED to get it fixed… I can already tell it's going to be costly.

----

Energy pistol

A short to long-ranged charge weapon. I acquired this weapon after Julia gave it to me after searching the ruins armory. Sleek, black color that looks highly advance. Fully charging a shot can blast off limbs with no problem and fire through metal. The smaller shots also do a fair bit of damage. Uses sunlight to charge so I had a custom made holster made for it.

----

Twin hooks

Close range weapons that I use as my default besides my staff. They work like any other sword except with the hooks I’m able to do things like trip opponents, force weapons out of enemies grasp, and even link up my two swords making it a dangerous medium-range weapon.

One has also been enchanted by Helena to be extra sharp. I can tell which one by the shimmer the sword has.

----

Staff

A short-range weapon that I use whenever I don’t intend to kill or severely harm a target. Though, rotating the two parts of the staff blades will reveal themselves at each end. It tends to catch enemies off guard.

----

Throwing knives

A short to medium-range weapon that I keep on me, three at a time. They usually aren’t lethal but have plenty of uses.

----

Chain whip

A medium-range weapon that works well on getting behind enemies that are blocking as the weapon will just wrap around any shield or sword and hit the person defending. Also, if used correctly, wrap around a weapon or person.

----

---------

Monsters

Goblins

I hate Goblins. I hated them growing up and I still hate them. If I ever encounter one again I will make it regret ever being born.

Besides my personal feelings towards Goblins, they’re a basic enemy that usually carry clubs and swords. Green, short, and disgusting. I will gladly kick one across the room one if given the chance.

I don’t know what Mamono Goblins are like but I’m sure they are equally annoying.

----

---------

Groups

Order

A heavy religious group that kills Mamono and Mamono supporters. They’re allied with the Empire but are far less advanced than them. Regardless they will still be a problem. They follow the Chief Goddess, whoever she is. Besides this, I don’t know much about them.

----

Empire

A massive group of anti-anything but human group. A powerful enemy with high tech weaponry. That and along with magic. They probably already killed hundreds of thousands. Some quotes from the book I got:

Mission motto- “To our glorious Majesty, his Lordship. Our mission to all of humanity is the extermination of all inhuman monster should of the world.”

Technology And Equipment- “You and your troops possess the greatest of magi-tech and technology and magic. You have the needs to purge your enemies.”

The Hunter- “Our greatest of soldiers, the Hunter. They are unmatched by anyone but their fellows. The greatest of all our genetic enhancements and technology. They can change the tide of battle alone.”

The book then talked about how they trained, tactics, weaponry, and vehicles. Though not much on the Hunters...

Besides this, I don’t know much about them. I should probably look into them further if I want even a chance to beat them… But where to start looking for more research? I have this book but what if it's out of date?

The Powder Kegs

A group of people that look to take all sorts of jobs. I’m unsure exactly of the history of the place but I’ve been told by Vendrick that the jobs pay well and that there are ‘raids’ whatever that means… I was also given a power called a Stand from the person who runs the place.

I don’t exactly know why he chose me but he did. I now have a hole in the back of my leg but I know have some useful abilities. I haven’t been back since but maybe I’ll go and look around again.
