“Edward!”
I groaned and eased my quill back to the inkwell and turned over my shoulder. “Yes maim!”
“Now! Edward!”
I got up andblew upon the still drying ink of my latest works, trying to decipher the ancient texts we received from the countless of raids from the last few monster friendly strongholds in the area.
It was a good decade for humanity; the monsters were pushed back hundreds of miles. Humanity had at last woken up to the need to push back with the extinction of the Dwarves, and now the Elves.
It was a wake up call, beyond any other. The very thought of humanity being driven to extinction in the sweet embrace of sex chilled the hearts of many.
“Edward, how many times must I tell you!” My sponsor grumbled; Julia, a middle-aged knight whose deprived body screamed for the embrace of a man’s touch. “Leave those ancient texts alone! Nothing good will come from it!”
“My apologies maim, but as you already know, I’m under strict orders from-”
“To hell with Templar Renald!” Julia flustered. “He wasn’t on the front lines! He doesn’t know what it’s like!”
That was certainly true. One of the new battle plans was having the women be frontline soldiers, as men were more likely to show mercy to a begging monster girl. Many questioned the thought behind it. But, you couldn’t argue with results.
Strangely enough, even though front line soldiers were given first pick with men they wanted, Julia never took one for herself.
“Speaking of which- I am to investigate the ruins of the blue moon.”
“What?”
“Alone, those orders came from Cardinal Paul.” I said, holding up a sealed scroll.
Julia took the scroll meant for her and broke the seal. She scanned it quickly and exhaled.
“The fools! They are ever fools!” She hissed. After a while she looked up at me. “Fine!” She huffed and stormed out.
(Two days later)
I panted, how on earth could rain pelt someone like this? It was like each rain drop was a bucket of water and it pounded into my body, making me feel each blasted drop like a soft punch!
Even the trees were little use, sheltering near them barely meant a thing!
A blinding light seared my eyes, and the world exploded around me, making me scream. What happened? Was it lighting?
I kept moving forward, unaware of my surroundings as I was now blind and deaf. I kept blinking my eyes, rubbing them… nothing…. I was blind!
“Someone? Anyone? Help!” I cried out in futile desperation. It was hopeless. There was no way I would live through this unless someone found me.
I stumbled along and screamed as I fell, desperate to catch hold of something! Anything!
“Oof!” I grunted as I landed in something soft. I felt around- pillows? Where was I?
Did it matter? I lay my head back glad I was out of the rain and closed my eyes and was asleep in moments.
It took a while to realize I was looking at the ceiling.
“I can see!” I cried out looking at my hands. I looked about, I was on a very old Arachne’s web that was littered with pillows. I glanced at where I must have come from; it was a chute of a kind, this must have been an old trap for a monster girl to capture men.
I gingerly picked my way to the edge of pillows and cut the web free as to not get stuck.
I fell a few feet and followed a tunnel that opened up to a huge cave- and there it was; the Blue moon ruins!
“This- this is unbelievable!” I breathed as I looked over the ruins and saw the glyphs. It this early impression was to be believed; the citizens of the Blue moon were triune! Human, Elves, and Dwarves! Living in harmony! In one kingdom!
Yes! The markings carried the traces of all three primordial languages of the three races! From what I could discern from the city; each race held equal portions of power! Each had the same sized portion of the city, and took turns in rotating power.
“What happened?” I breathed, wondering how could such an advanced kingdom fall to the trackless eternity of being forgotten.
Days passed, and my food supplies were running low. Thankfully, I was able to activate my homing beacon, and would be able to return to both my home city and to the ruins. There was just too much to learn and explore, and I felt a certain despair that there would be no way for me to absorb it in my life time. It would take several lifetimes, multiple universities, and hundreds of scholars to catalogue it all. I even found a massive library with innumerable scrolls that spanned centuries of history.
“Just one more room.” I told myself for the hundredth time.
I gasped. I knew this room was special, that it was going to hold something unique.
“A culmination of the three race’s technology!” I breathed.
But even I could never be prepared for what I saw in here. Of the three races, each had a unique approach to technology and power.
Dwarves favored complex machinery. Building the most intricate and delicate of instruments that whirred and clicked in a dizzying perfection and harmony. They did employ magic, but the physical nature of their prowess was evident in all their works. They would move, whirr, click, and occasionally glow from elements of magic that powered or focused energy.
Elves favored overwhelmingly complex and powerful spellwork. They favored gemstone that held incalculable power. Scrolls and texts that would activate processes not unlike the dwarves mechanical way of doing things. Their works would sparkle, flash, and make the very air buzz with energy that would stand your hair on end.
Humans were a different sort of magic and mechanical. They preferred absolute precision with both aspects. Where elves would up the magic power to achieve a desired effect, humans, with not as much magical energy, would perfect techniques that would use a fraction of the power, and be just as effective. The same would be for their mechanics. They were not nearly as beautiful or as well-made as dwarven, but they would be just as precise.
But this creation….
I glanced at the creatures form. It was an automation of a sort. It had a crown of elven craftsmanship, A skeleton of dwarven manufacture, and a human built core that emanated a light that somehow projected the creation’s flesh.
I gulped as I moved closer; she was absolutely beautiful. I reached out and was surprised that I could actually touch her translucent flesh.
I cried out as her hand grabbed my arm. I looked up, and cried out again upon seeing her glowing eyes open, staring at me.
“Una cor tein pa hyun sha tu.” She said, in a strange, yet sweet voice.
“Uh, what did you say?” I mumbled.
Her head quirked and she let go of my hand, immediately brining both of her palms to my face.
I gasped as I felt an incredible pressure seize my entire body- and just as it started, it was over.
“Unit ready for instruction.” She said.
“Who are you?”
The woman blinked. “Unit.”
I frowned and shook my head. “That won’t do, hmmm. I know! Una! I like the way you said that earlier! What does Una mean?”
The woman gave another quick, and I could almost swear her expression flashed a “seriously?” look. “Una means unit. I am una, I am unit.”
“Let’s just stick with Una.” I said, savoring taking to another being for the first time in days.
“This unit can not follow commands to an unregistered user. User registration is required before commands can be followed.” She said, almost in a huff.
“Okay, well, how do I do that?”
“I am to sample your genetic code- do you give authorization?”
“Uh, well sure- umpf!” My body froze, and then burned with incredible heat as she locked her mouth to mine and buried her tongue down my throat.
After a few moments of that, she pulled away with a wet pop. A strand of saliva connected both our mouths and she drew her finger over my lips, wicked it away and licked her finger.
“Registration complete.” She cooed, her eyes now having a great deal more life to them.
(POV BREAK)
Una felt a strange heat as her body and circuits processed Edward’s genetic code. Some strange program kept telling her body that an insufficient amount was received, and yet that was impossible. Edward was fully registered as her master. How odd.
Una looked at Edward and shifted her vision to thermal. An intense of concentration of heat was building in his crotch. She stared, making Edward realize it too.
“Oh! Good heavens! You are in distress!” She cooed, surprised by her word choices and tone. She moved forward and adjusted her own physical parameters and made her hand ice cold and reached down his pants. “Here, let me.” She whispered in his ear.
Edward cried out as she worked her hand over the source of heat. An error message popped up in her programing, demanding more genetic material. She tried to squelch the error, but decided to see what happened if she got more material.
“Hmmm,” She moaned as she brought her lips to his protesting mouth again. Exploring his mouth, sucking the saliva from his tongue.
Something was wrong, his flesh grew hotter. Her cold treatment wasn’t working! She shifted her programming to allow a soothing ointment to secrete from her hand and continued to work it.
Edward clung to her body, in an obviously positive response. His heart raced and then- something came from the body part, coating her hand.
“Hmm?” Una broke the kiss and looked at her hand. Her air sampling receptors detected an intense concentration of Edward’s genetic material and she licked the substance from her hand.
The error messages changed form ‘error’ to ‘directive’ demanding that she obtain as much of this new material as she could.
Una pulled Edward’s clothing off and seized his flesh and took it completely in her mouth. She swirled her tongue around, and even inside the place where the material came from. The system messages became more dire. She had to get more material, and faster. A new system directive booted into existence, and Una suddenly knew how to get twice as much material as before.
She stopped and pushed Edward to the ground. She positioned her lower opening above his flesh and lowered herself on top of him. The sensation of penetration caused a system shock, making her voice call out his name, and crying out in pleasure.
There, she now completely surrounded his flesh, now for the second vector of collection. She lowered her face and locked her lips to his, and began to rock her hips.
The system messages coursed through her body, sending shockwaves of indescribable pleasure. It seemed to that it was all leading to…. something.
“Aaah! Aaaaaah! Aaaaaah!” Una cried out, feeling the “something” almost cause a system crash in her programing. Edward’s material flooded into her lower opening, and her body absorbed it all…. satisfied… for now.
“Master.” Una sighed, sliding off his flesh and snuggling up next to him, warming her body to keep him comfortable.
Edward sighed as well, and wrapped his arms around her. Una felt a little moisture in her nose and sniffed, and wiped a drop of moisture form her eyes, wondering where all these sensations came from… but ultimately not caring, as she had the entire worth, meaning, and purpose of her existence in her arms.
