Thankfully the guy was making a panic shot and only hit my arm. That being said he regret's it all of a second later when Kiki lunges at him and stabs him in both hands, before kicking the gun to the other side of the street. She then runs to me and inspects the wound.
"Master, master, I'm so sorry. You got hurt, you're not meant to get hurt while I'm watching you. I'm so sorry." She panics around me, and I tell her to stop fussing. A quick visit to the clinic will have this patched up in no time. She nods furiously, then start's pushing me towards the local clinic.
Once we arrive she starts yelling at the receptionist that I've been shot. The girl behind the desk takes one look at me, confirms that, yes, I have indeed been FUCKING SHOT, and calls a doctor down. We take a seat, Kiki still fussing about, removing my jacket and pulling up my sleeve to look at the wound.
The doctor arrives and calls us back into one of the rooms. He takes a close look at the wound before nodding. "Looks like a clean shot, lucky you it went straight through. I'll just need to put a few stitches in, and you can be on your way." I thank him for this, but when he pulls out the needle to start doing the stitches, Kiki grabs it and kneels next to me. I give the doctor a look, but he doesn't seem worried.
"Ah, kikimora. Well, you won't be needing me anymore. Just see yourselves out when you're ready." He gives us a nod and leaves the room. Kiki stitches me up well, even if it does hurt a bit. Once finished she wraps it in a bandage and nods to herself.
"All done master. Now I think we need to get home so I can get these groceries in the fridge, and so you can get some rest." She says, her cheery smile back. We leave, passing the doctor who gives us a small smile.
We get home and she puts me in a chair with a drink and a nice fluffy pillow. She then proceeds to clean her knife and begins to prepare dinner. I swear, she was the best decision I ever made.
