After what happened to the girl Mantis hid in the house of my friend Simon. The family of Simon is part of a cult which is against aa mix with mamonos despite Simon himself not be adept to this ideology, so the neighborhood where he lives only accepts mamonos entry with special visa and takes a while to get one and so I must be safe for some time.

- Thanks for letting me stay in your garage. - I say.

- No problem, after all friend is for those hours. - Answer him fiddling with something, I think it's a car. - But I have a doubt. Why do they think you have something to do with that girl had an accident?

- For all the city's police force and the fire department are angry with Billy, but since he is in Thailand decided to blame the first of us who appeared on the scene. - Answer kicking a loose bolt on the floor.

- Just, I think, do not they put the blame on you, but they suspect Billy. - Said Simon.

- Out I suspect that was not an accident. - I say.

- Why do you think that? - Simon asked.

I explain to him the story about "the children of scythe" and how it was related to the incident.

- Definitely suspicious. - Simon said without taking his eyes off the machine. - But the children of the scythe? I think I've heard that term somewhere.

I hold his collar. - You heard? Where was? Who are these children of Scythe? - I still shake until he has me holding my wrists. I am embarrassed by my manners.

- I do not know very well, but I think Alfred can give us a light on this mystery.

...

Later we went to Alfred's house. Alfred belongs to the same cult that Simon, but unlike Simon that is simply not adept, Alfred is very curious about the mamonos so that others consider a threat to mental health so he lives alone in his big house.

As soon as we talked to our friend curious about my problem with the police and the alleged children of Scythe. He was encouraged in his way. Alfred is not very expressive, but when you spend time with him begins to peceber certain discrete expressions. He almost smiled then mean that he is excited.

Two hours and sixteen cups of coffee later. Alfred came back with some books on a mantis order that existed a good 1,000 years ago, before humans and mamonos get along. Apparently they were skilled warriors who used the domain of battle art with their natural weapons to do several attacks in favor of Demor Lord, some considered too extreme and violent even for theses in her faction.

Their Lider was known only by the pseudonym "Scythe" with "S" capitalized the others were known as "Children's Scythe" or "Daughters of Scythe." Just beside from the page had a drawing of Lider "Scythe" she looked like a common Mantis, except for insect wings and that bore several tattoos in the body that did not look like any rune pleasure that I have seen. In addition there were records of an order of hunters who fought against the "children of Scythe" they called the Aegis, Alfred thought was some reference to the shield Aegis and the Scythe of Harpe.

- You're not thinking that what is happening has to do with ... - Simon began. - You're thinking about it. Seriously, should only be a joke!

- It seems too far for a joke. - I answer. - And just Billy would make a joke go so far and who else out Alfred, you know who might know something about the children of the Scythe?

Simon massaging the front of the forehead nervously. I do not blame him, it's a lot to swallow in one afternoon.

- All right, suppose it is true and these daughters of the Scythe have returned, which we should do so. - Simon asked.

- I do not know. - Honestly answer.

- The police seems willing to put the blame on anyone than go after a dead group, that if they believe that it's worth of listening to. - Said Alfred. - And even if they believe I doubt they can do something to help.

- I miss when the worst thing that could happen was the Billy confusion. - I say to myself.

Many things to think about, at least we now know what the problem is, but we can do nothing but wait in hiding and be alert for any clues.

To be continue. (Or not).
