In the middle of the day, me and my succubus wife took a stroll in a public park, trying to look for a good spot for our picnic.  It was a long walk to find flat ground. We walk long enough to notice someone on a bench. When I look twice, I see a familiar friend. My old friend, Sam. All my memories of him flashes by. He's the kind of person whenever he's around people he doesn't talk much. Nor the one to bring up the conversation, but I was the only person to open up to him. I mean, I'm not a people's person either but I try to open up. So he's more comfortable talking to me. Despite his introverted personality he's comfortable talking about the things he likes to me. It's usually because I don't judge him or talk bad about what he likes. He's a good guy, too bad have a lot of friends. But seeing him looking so emotionally beaten while sitting alone m on the bench alone reminds me of who he is. I'd be a bastard not to talk to an old friend.

"Hey Sam! Long time no see man!" He brought his head up, his solemn expression of silence turned into excitement when he saw me. "Oh, hi Chris. Yeah, long time no see." He says before looking at my wife. "Oh, you're married now. Good for you." He said, holding back some sad envy. Sandra threw a polite 'Hi' waving her hands. "Are you okay man. Why are you here all by yourself?" I asked. He gasp and sighs, obviously having a hard time. His expression changed into the same expression he held before. "I'm fine. I just came here to uhh… cool off. Agh, what am I saying. I'm not okay."

"What's the matter?"

Well, I might sound greedy but, t's just that I really want to marry a Lilm. I'm afraid they could all be married by now. So, my life sucks. I can't get what I want." He laughs it off after finishing his word. Also forcing a smile only to disappear and looking into a void. Still being his old self. My wife and I look at each other. "Ah, don't say that You're a good guy. I'm sure there are plenty of lilms who are head over heels for you."

He chuckled, "You kidding? Look at me. I'm literally wearing the same shirt from yesterday. My hair is messy. And I'm just the scrawny little teenager back in high school," there was a bit of silence, I was about to speak up until he finished his sentence. "I'm a loser compared to the other guys. I'm out of their league…" I opened up my mouth and, "Okay, I'm done." I opened up my mouth… and Sandra spoke before my words can leave my mouth. "You still have a chance, Sam. I'm sure there is a lilm who will fall for you. Not for you looks, but for who you are. Trust me, I know!" Sam smiles genuinely this time. "Oh thanks. I didn't get your name." "It's Sandra, pleasure to meet you." She reaches her hand out and Sam took her hands then shook them. Not gonna lie, he changed a little. He came along way from talking less confidently. "I don't think it matters how you look. There should be a lilm out there that was meant for you." "Oh stop being nice. Ths world doesn't expect me to get a lilm wife. My life sucks."

"Sam, you're my friend. I hate to see you like this. You deserve to be happy, man."

"Thanks."

"It's been a while since we hung out with each other. We should catch up. Do you have a phone number?"

"Yeah, but I don't really use it."

"What's your phone number?"

"Uh, 741-221-7721."

I dialed it and his phone rang. He reaches for his phone and hangs up.

Author's Note: I don't own a phone Number ;-; not sure how it works.

"There we go, now you have my phone number. We should hang out sometimes. And I'll try to book you a date with a lilm. If I can."

"You would do that for me?"

"Of course! You're my friend."

"Thanks a lot. It means a lot to me."

"Anytime Sam."

My wife spokes up. "Oh, Sam. Have you eat lately?"

"Mm..no."

"Well you can join us for picnic if you like. I made too much food for the both of us, it'd be nice to have someone help us finish them."

"It's alright, I wouldn't want to ruin your date."

"Oh, but I insist! Don't worry about it, it's just a picnic. Are you alright with hik joining us Honey?"

"Yeah, it's cool."

And that concludes Part 1, this took longer than I thought.
