The FreeShades
Despite being an anomalous reflection of humanity, not even the Shadow People are equal in the way they treat each other. A rare few tend to be created with a very unpopular defect: they are permanently solid, which means getting killed by anything that isn't of their kind is a possibility. Enter the FreeShades: an unpopular, outcast "gang" led by Agent Scimitar. Having gotten kicked out of the Void by their "immortal" brethren, these misfits formed their own gang, their own rules, and have had their fair share of misadventures.
Like any true gang, the FreeShades will not hesitate to jump at an opportunity to cause trouble and get paid for it. But when a highly profitable contract comes up - one that demands the need for the FreeShades to work alongside the seven gangs - there's already a heavy sense of suspicion and hesitation to carry out the mission. Nevertheless, the gang found itself stepping forth into the MGE world; making an entrance that's going to be felt throughout the entire world.
Agent Scimitar
Even when solid, a shadow is still a shadow. Don't expect the FreeShades to have color.
A born leader with a growing sense of morality, Scimitar has been leading the FreeShades ever since they came together. For better or worse, this 'misfit' shadow is always working to further the gang's influence, despite knowing that his whole group could die off at any moment because of their defect. Already aware of the concept of the MGE world, Scimitar assumed the contract presented to them would be easy money, given the circumstances. But, upon discovering that the contract demands the FreeShades to ally with the seven gangs, Scimitar has his doubts about the legimitacy of the work given to them.
Agent Claw

hard case and a half, Claw oversees the more questionable work of the FreeShades. Seeing their exile from the Void as a "first taste of freedom," Claw was more than eager to team up with the other shades in their situation for the sake of making a name of his own. Due to his phenomenal combat prowess - and so that Scimitar can more easily keep an eye on him - Claw was unanimously voted by his peers to be the (reluctant) right-hand man of the FreeShades. As much as his friends care about him, Claw has a knack of scaring everyone with his morally ambiguous antics (especially when he starts sampling the 'goods' that the gang smuggled during black market events), and it doesn't help that he can hardly take their work seriously. Of all the FreeShades, Claw is probably the main one that embodies the term "section eight."
Some people are known to 'experiment' with bad ideas, and Claw is no different. Despite the FreeShades having only recently arrived in the MGE world, Scimitar has his suspicions that Claw got his hands on (and is probably doing some questionable things with) a certain dairy drink.
